Amazing tutorial, and one of the best looking effects I've seen for VHS. Absolutely love that you show how to save it as a preset, I never would have figured that on my own
Thanks man! The good thing about this tutorial is I can just listen rather than having to switch between Premiere and the video because you say the percentages that you switch everything to. Thank you so much for this coherent tutorial, this looks amazing.
holy shit dude, this is a great tutorial! i'm a total neanderthal when it comes to premiere pro, yet I didn't have a single moment where i had trouble here. thank you so much!
The amount of time you just saved me so much time. Definetly one of the best Tutorials I've seen I feel like I've improved a lot. THANK YOU earned my sub in record time.
The best tutorial for premier pro I have ever seen. EVER. I was already impressed but then you point out the fact I can collapse and copy the effect tabs. absolute legend
THANK YOU for this! This worked perfectly for what I was going for- still trying to get used to Premier instead of relying solely on DaVinci when editing and it’s been quite an adjustment, thanks again! :)
I really love how this effect looked on my clips! I do have an issue though. This effect just will not render on my computer. I changed all the settings to ensure a faster render time but it’s still not working. Any advice would help! Thank you
Super easy to follow! The edge of my clips seem to act a little strange with the effect, like there is a lighting error or something along the border of the clips. Off the top of anybody's head, any suggestions?
Does anyone know how to make footage look like it was filmed on like an old early 2000's video camera? specifically from the year 2008. Ive been trying to figure out a solution for quite some time now but can't seem to perfectly replicate it.
Hi, great video! I just have one problem. It seems that channel blur is creating a little black bar at the bottom of the video. I hid crop and it didn't work, only when taking both out does the little bottom black bar go away. It bugs me. Does anyone know what it might be?
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It was all I needed to manage to create the vhs retro effect on adobe premiere pro for a video edit I wanted to make as a test for myself. It worked thanks to your help. I'll be grateful for that.
Super easy to follow but I have one issue. For some reason when I add the video effects such as noise or the channel blur, it turns my video completely white and the only way to get that effect off is to remove them altogether. Any idea why that’s happening?
@@OfficialTylerWhite yes, but the problem still persists. I even tried another preset from another video and got the same results. Im using a 2020 Macbook air lol idk if that matters or not
Thank-you so much for this! I'm working on a video with a bunch of archival VHS footage, and some modern camera footage, and I'm using your technique to get all the footage to look the same :) You're a real life saver hahaha Also, props to you for verbally mentioning the percentages when applying each effect. It was so nice to keep Premiere open and apply the effects without switching windows every few seconds :D

When I add drag channel the channel blur to the clip the footage turns white
Are you adding it to the video clip or an adjustment layer?
same issue. when dragging directly onto the clip
same result on clip or adj. layer
no matter what the channel blur effect seems to make any clip a white screen. new bug? idk
when I disable lumetri, then channel blur works like normal..
