Hey! Fantastic video. Your videos are very inspiring. I was wondering do you ever use the power zoom on the 14-42 lens? Do you have any thoughts on that function?
Thanks for sharing. I have a Gx80, same camera. Never thought of using it as a filming camera as I use a couple of Bmpcc, but your footage is impressive. Did you use the stock Resolve film LUTs. Thats quite impressive. I might have to consider using mine as an extra cam in the rig. How does it handle color grading in resolve?
Hi, i love your videos ! You should add a voice over sometimes and tell a story, some thoughts, it would get a lot more views :) How do you deal wih low light conditions ? I have the G85 (internally the same camera but with a flipping screen and bigger size) and it struggles so much with grain and bad quality in relatively low lighty
Hi! Thank you very much for your comment :) I like the idea of using some voice over. Maybe I'll experiment with it. Thanks! As for low light...it's bad. I struggle with it too. But I've kinda come to appreciate the constraint. And it often forces me to put my camera down at night.
I like this point of view :) maybe you'll experiment with some (powerful) lights too, colourful ones, it could creat a vintage gelatine look in yellow, or a blue-ish polaroid look even ? Keep going :) @@chrisgrasmussen
So nice seeing someone else post their gx85 footage!
I left mine at a coffee shop the other day (I recovered it thankfully) and I felt like I lost a family member.
Making beautiful images w a kit lens and an old ass camera. Thank you for this reminder my friend.
These are some impressive results from the GX85

Wow
I love your color grading dude.
If you could only have 2 lenses for this camera which ones would you get? Is there any good tele zoom lenses?
So calm, simple and at the same time very thoughtful framing! Btw. in which picture profile are you filming that?
I'm using the neutral picture mode and turning the contrast down for the flattest image possible!
Very nice
film makes even the mundane cinematic ... lovelt frames mate .

Where did you get the frame overlay?
Nice
can i use this for a video? 😃
Did you come up with the look on your own or did you use Dehancer or something like that?
Bro, where do I get this matte/overlay for the 8mm feel
I like it very much! Are you using black mist or other filter ?
Thank you very much :) I use a Cinebloom 5% filter!
@@chrisgrasmussen Great 👍 thank you for replying, enjoy shooting 😉
What color profile do you use in the camera? :)
❤
Would you recommend the gx85 over the gx9 for the price savings?
how do you set the CST on davinci? i'm struggling a lot with that with my Gx85
Nice GX85 Footage. Do you enabled Cinelike D & V?
how do you get handheld shots so stable?
I have this camera but when I film or shoot it doesn’t look like this or I don’t know the way. TT
It clearly say "Color Grading 16mm"
@@Wave_Dropso this isn’t filmed on the gx85? but rather used to shoot pictures of the 16mm film?
@@inmandoshead No, it was filmed on the gx85 but then did a 16mm film emulation on DaVinci Resolve
@@tomasgomez1906 ahh I see, I thought they were scanning 16mm film thank you for that
Tutorial color grading plz
You use luts?
