For the longest time I have been watching various Edh channels. The Command zone, IHYD, Tabletop jocks and I have to say I’m really impressed by your content since you began Hijinks. Why I don't run it in my werewolf deck. Maybe they rule 0d it?
Moonmist is still great for tovolar edh, if you got some older werewolves and because it can still be used as instant protection for werewolves
He triggers on upkeep if there are 3 or more wolfs/werewolfs though right? He could've stacked the triggers so that transformed first no? If anything wouldnt the wolves be tapped since he regenerated?
A very fun episode of EDH. I really liked it. Amy missed some loyality counters on her planeswalkers when she played a land. One example: Evolution Sage + Nissa = 2 counters on Nissa due to Proliferate and Landfall.

Hey Ben, regeneration taps your creatures. I could have missed something that was in play, but I just wanted you to know. It's such an old mechanic so I only remember because I always forget lol
Not sure where in the video it is, but remember that it only taps the creatures when they do the regenerating. Putting regenerate on a critter doesn't tap it until the regen "goes off" so to speak.
@@MrSwordJ true, but he regenerated them in response to them about to die, so that doesn't apply in this case

With reflections of litjara, the copy will resolve before the actual card does so the physical copy won’t be on the battlefield when the copy triggers its etb.

Lord Windgrace was my first commander. And I still run it today as my competitive deck in my play group. I’m glad to see Amazonian run him😁
I'm so thankful for the fact you guys started to post the decklists after each game. These deck are all so cool but sometimes you don't get to see the bulk of the deck played and so it's incredibly appreciated to be able to go and see the full deck after each game! 😃
Ally's were my favorite deck to play when i first started magic. Then years later when i pucked up commander I have built aTazri ally deck. Awesome to see some play of the deck and get new ideas!
Had to chose a mid-range deck for our channel today. I am convinced to dust off my allies. I have had it for a while but I need to touch it up a bit.

I have to comment about the continuing debate over whether or not you eat cereal out of a bowl or dry. I think it depends on the time of day or what your are doing. If it's early morning with coffee it has to be bowl and milk. If I finish a work out, play magic, or need a quick TV snack (lazy dinner) dry cereal wins. I love the content, keep it going.

Moonmist actually doesn't flip daybound/nightbound creatures; that's why Tovolar has two separate clauses: one to transform the old werewolves and another to change it to night. Immerwolf on the other hand, will override the flip if it becomes day, but those creatures will flip if it leaves.
I watch these at double speed and that intro/outro song is a BANGER at that speed

This one is a rules clarification. For people who may have trouble understanding regeneration, because it is a very under-utilized keyword, the way it works is the following:
Rule 614.8: Regeneration is a destruction-replacement effect. The word "instead" doesn't appear on the card but is implicit in the definition of regeneration. "Regenerate [permanent]" means "The next time [permanent] would be destroyed this turn, instead remove all damage marked on it and tap it. If it's an attacking or blocking creature, remove it from combat." Abilities that trigger from damage being dealt still trigger even if the permanent regenerates. See rule 701.15."
How this works with "Fight" is that a creature that's fighting with another creature, if it would be destroyed, and it gets regenerated, is instead tapped after removing all of the damage from the creature. In other words, all regeneration does is put a "prevent this creature's destruction the next time it would be destroyed" bubble on the creature. Regeneration is not merely a combat-only ability.
I only state these things because the question was asked during the game, and I could provide the answer to the question -- thus being of some help in some small way.

Misplayed when he regenerated his werewolf it becomes tapped so he couldn't attack with the one she tried to kill
Regenerate puts like a regeneration shield, and when the creature is attempted to be destroyed it gets tapped

good game other than the moonmist error which is difficult to track, ulrich wouldn't be able to attack the turn full moons rise was sacrificed as he would of been tapped from regeneration saving him from destruction

was there an errata on Day/nightbound and Moonmist or why can you transform Tovolar with it?? Than Rule 702.145(b) says: "This permanent can’t be transformed except by its daybound ability.” or was it simply a gameplay mistake?

Loving this episode and I’m posting before finishing. As a werewolf deck player, the new werewolf cards are awesome.
However, the failure to errata the old werewolf cards really creates a problem. In most games I ask in rule 0 if I can play with all wolves being day bound night bound and I don’t give the old wolves their transform bonus if casting into the transformed side from hand. Not playing this way leads to weird board states with some cards being werewolf and others being human werewolf. It becomes confusing, especially with cards transforming with different criteria.
Can OGH make a recommendation to errata them?
