This is the first episode of High Rollers I've watched. I've been a fan of Mark for a while now, originally seeing him in Far Verona as the Chaplain. After several weeks of watching him doing an amazing job DMing Nights of Eveningstar, I saw this and decided to watch to see if I'd like the groups dynamic and whatnot. This is an awesome group. I'm going to have to go and watch from season 1.
As someone who used to work at a... ahem, “Non-Copyright Construction Bricks” store and used to construct nerdy crap on my break time, I am beyond thrilled by Nova. Additionally: _Who made that thumbnail, oh my god_ Also, I think I want a Quill plushie more than anything in the world.
This is a work of absolute mastery. Both from a creative point of view, a business point of view and even a personal point of view. Even the RP. Mark was so invested in this last scene you even see him shed a tear. This, my guys, is acting at its finest.
Damn you Mark, humanizing the villain, making the main story more than a simple good vs. evil! THE FEELS!! Truly a master of storytelling! Fantastic game everyone!

So I thought of an amazing reasoning for wanting to go back when the echo of ciasca (I don’t know how to spell it) asks them why yo go back It is this: there can’t be “happy days” when there is no bad or terrible days to go with them as when there is no sadness there is no way for a day to be considered happy: so let me ask you all a question what is happiness when there is no loss, when there is no crying, when there is no heartbreak, there is none there will be no clear sky’s after the storm there will be no light there won’t even be true happiness only a feeling of missing something there is a reason we feel emotions and they help us stay alive they help us regulate are existence so back to my question, what is happiness without sadness? Remember people look for the days ahead even if there bad in your eyes there a blessing in others. Always look at the future for the clear sky’s that comes after your storm
Aila probably wouldn't need to throw Qillek forward so that he lands back inside unless they were going really fast like 70+ kmph. If she threw him forwards he would land in front and get run over.
OH MY GOSH this is even more perfect considering that their toy-types reflect their ages! Tin toys a bit like Sentry, were very common 100 something years ago. She's the oldest! Not to mention that well-kept metal toys are still around today. Barbies have been around for 50 something years at least. Action figures have also been around a long time. These two types would also last a fairly long time too, reflecting the slightly longer than human ages that elves in this universe have. Legos, oh, sorry, brickmasters, are a bit of a weird one here. Brickmasters are a bit younger than Barbies, if memory serves, but other than that don't really reflect Nova's age super well. But they do reflect her interests perfectly. But Quill? soft boi plushie? Well that's just perfect! Our birb boy is 3 years old. And stuffed toys have the shortest lifespan, being much more prone to damage by agents like dust, mold, or simply falling apart. Perfectly representative of the short lives of Aarakocra.
Toy story Aerois is great. I now want an action Aila, and hug me quil. This is a wholesome one shot. Not they need to go and see Sanna and Rosalina and tell them it was real and tell Valla it happened

Just so you know, campaign 1 does not have Rhiannon or Tom in it. Tom comes in later in the campaign. It's still very worth watching though.
in my opinion light fall was great, but aerois easily tops it.
Just wait until you see Trellimar! Best character in campaign 1!
Campaign 1 has the advantage of having Kim who is only starting to learn DnD tho and it's honestly why I got hooked in the first place :D

tbf I think he rolled a nat 1 on an "endowment check" on the first episode of aerois, so Luc was already the opposite of Cam in that regard
