“Ahh it’s been a long time”……”who are you?”LMAO this turned out incredible. And things get SO MUCH BETTER!
I've gone through the node backlog of DnD games and it's so great to see y'all together.
@@soulance8342 I'm already enjoying this so much
You and brandon were always my favorites of the old campaigns and im so glad to see you back in the game again and in charge of node.
@@papafrogproductions918 I really hope Brandon makes a guest appearance in this series. Though, I understand he's hella busy so I'm not gonna get my hopes up.
Looking forward to that Jenga part 2 baby!
Wren: "My name is 'Bob' with a W."
Me: Oh, so it's probably spelled "Bawb" or maybe "Bowb."
Screen: "Wbob"
Me: *_wheezing_*
Took me a minute to realize it’s because Wren is pronounced Ren and the W is silent…so this mega brain man decided to name his character Wbob instead of Bob
@@mrjorts8574 the "w” is silent? im so curious how you say "who" "what" "where" "when" and "window" lol.
@@devilmay w is silent in who
@@devilmay I'm having a hard time trying to see your argument, not every word that starts with a W makes the W silent. "window", "when" and "what" all start with a W and you focus on the W when pronouncing it, but "wrench", "written", "wrought", "wrath" and "wrestle", all have a silent W. most but not all words with a silent W begin with Wr.... also "who" has a silent W btw.
@@mrjorts8574 Na man. Who without the 'w' is just a ho, pronounced the same as 'hoe'. The 'wh' produces a certain kind of sound, it has Anglo-Saxon roots in 'hw' and Middle English. At some point in time we underwent a 'reduction' where certain letters were either omitted or the letters were swapped around. English is weird, to say the letter is silent in this case isn't necessary correct, especially when we pronounce different sounds from the same letter combinations in so so many words.
Did not expect Jake to be such a good bard damn he's really carrying the team
I went from never having understood the appeal of Dungeons and Dragons/not knowing anything about it,
to watching the entire 57 minutes of this and wanting to know what happens next.
Good stuff.
Man you gotta check out critical role. This is pretty great and the concept is awesome but critical role is next level storytelling and rp
It really is a very fun game. If you have a game store near you, see if they have any games with an open spot. Or ask some friends.
Also Dimension 20 has several of their series up on RUclips. The Unsleeping City is one of my favorites.
That means i did my fn job! Hope you watch the whole season- because NO JOKE it gets wild

So excited that everyone finally gets to watch it!!
It's great to see you back with the crew again Cmike! Hoping more opportunities come up again soon!
Wow you really are the nicest guy.
Cmike the legend 😍🙏 We miss you!
Thank you and everyone else for this
The nicest guy blessed us with his presence xD
Its always so fun to watch new players learn the game. "I throw the rope 100 feet up" is something only a new player would think of and it's amazing
cos throwing a coil of rope 100' up would normally take a crossbow and work, or a catapult.
Ever tried to throw a few kg straight up? You'd get 5-8m not 30. :P
What makes it better is it worked
He's not a new player though. He specifically says he has played DnD before (3:11)
Yeeeeeess!!! Such a blast watching you guys play. I keep telling myself, "okay back to work" ... but i'm diggin this too much.
Hi, Clint!
😀
I wish you play with them, you will make it more fun...
Absolute favorite part was with Jake's introduction: "I carry with me a guitar, a mandolin, and a smaller guitar"
The way Jake consistently says absolutely ridiculous things like it's common sense, while making me burst into laughter every time, is priceless haha ;D Thanks Jake!
Haha you're welcome! - Jake
@@CorridorCrew I was cracking up, while everyone at the table somehow stayed quiet, lmao.
This was my first time being exposed to D&D. I thought I wont understand half of what's happening but I really had a great time watching
I have played D&D on and off for about 30 yrs. In my experience this is way more like what playing the game is than Critical Role. No shade on the other channel.
@@majorlazor5058 Critical Role are profesional voice actors that almost turned a lot of their career towards profesian D&D. They've an animation show based on their campaign. So yes, a standard home game of D&D isn't going to like Critical Role, it's not going to be like Dimension 20 (my favorite D&D show because Brennan Lee Mulligan is an absolute fucking treasure).
Brennan even said it himself that you shouldn't want your D&D game to be run like that. They have a schedule and need to make it that a big audience is satisified. You don't want or need that in your homegames.
Being honest, I love and watch Corridor Crew content pretty regularly, but never liked or commented. This ground-up series that is a clear passion project by a group of small but talented individuals combined with an exciting premise of D&D is my first like/comment in a long time. I hope-like me-others are inspired to give a little more back to the efforts you guys give in producing this project. Best of luck, and may the rolls be ever in your favor!

It’s nice to see another Bloodhunter! I’m currently playing an Australian Bloodhunter who’s Hybrid form is based on a wolf spider. He uses Boomerangs to fight, and in spider form, he brings out more Boomerangs to throw. Nothing about him is serious. He loves to turn danger floofs into pets, despite the fact that one of his arms in in it’s mouth currently. “[looks at consumed arm whilst in Hybrid form]… I got 5 more of these, so it’s probably fine.”

Got a suggestion here. Maybe you can show the char's stats like HP or any relevant stats that is being used, and the monsters in combat. Maybe also what move the players are doing. Gonna make the feel more game-y, engaging and helpful for people not familiar with DnD. Though I realize it's gonna be a lotta more work 😂

Holy crap is this good. Not only the beautiful visuals but, the group has such good synergy. I've never seen such an incredible blend of comedy and roleplay.
When Niko introduced his character, I was so hoping for Sam to say, "A Druid, you don't look Druish!"

he really is a bard irl
You all is what got me into dnd with your original call of the wild campaign and now I’ve been playing with friends for several years now through high school. I’m so excited for this campaign now and can’t wait for new memories.
Tremendous work, Corridor. Every aspect of this was clearly handled with love and care. This will be a weekly view for me on the site and I'm already looking forward to season 2.
For the Crew: Great job, guys! Keep up the amazing work!
For the commenters: If you enjoy this format of DnD, I recommend Viva La Dirt League’s DnD series! They don’t have the digital miniatures, but they do have this sort of ‘cut back and forth between the real game and the players dressed up and acting it out’.
This feels genuine, old school (in the best of ways) and yet modern. I love this.
I like how Wren's character falls 90 to the ground and his chipmunk companion is entirely okay.
Reminds me of kronk
If a chipmunk is comparable to a squirrel, then it could take a massive fall without damage
@@fartpimpson3843 Chipmunk probably scrambled to Wbob's chest so that Wbob would take the brunt of it.
@@Goku-cr2bi I was just saying that squirrels (not the flying squirrel types that use extra skin as a wing suit) fall out of trees all the time and survive 40 foot falls and higher due to low mass (and doing the wing suit shape to increase drag) so it's possible a chipmunk could survive a fall similarly. I'm not a chipmunk physicist; do not drop animals from heights.

I was doing physics hw whilst watching this and decided to do some math...
41:25, the rope throw, for Wren to have made it up he'd have to have thrown the rope a minimum of 44.29m/sec
Going off the players handbook of 50feet of rope being 20lbs, and the fact that this is 2 m/sec slower than the world's fastest baseball pitch with a projectile 128x heavier, means that he would've exerted roughly 2657.35N of force. This is estimating generously however assuming it takes .3 seconds for his arm to accelerate, if we assume he gets this rope up to speed in say, the time it takes a baseball pitcher to throw (.03sec), the force grows to an absurd 26573N, which is enough to lift an above average truck.
TLDR; This man is a literal God
This isn't even considering the fact that Sam said the rope went over the parties heads and landed perfectly right next to them, accounting for that would increase the initial velocity and easily make this break that baseball world record
@@BigWoofer Hmm.. but do our physics apply to a world where magic exist? For example, dragons would not be able to fly as traditionally depicted with our physics applied to their average designs.
@@TheRealHypervizor Please don't tempt me to measure the volume of air moved by an average sized Dragon to see if that's true or not...
