Just came across your video and this is so uplifting to watch. Thank you for sharing your story/experience!
Dude loooove the video!!! I learned to surf in Lagos back in 2010! Godpower and John are awesome. :) thanks for reminding me those awesome waves!!!
Thanks guys for sharing this amazing video. Takwa bays and many others are lovely to visit, in any weather. This video further proves that Nigeria and other African nations have so much potential, but unfortunately, the dark forces within and outside their borders want to ensure this is never materialised.
*Awesome video bro* 😁👌🏾
search up surfing in Mozambique its a gorgeous off beaten path wave in East Africa :)
Takwa Bay, just across from Eko Atlantic very cool.... Nice video..
Awesome view of Nigerian Surf delivered in a neat film!
Nice Video!! I spent at least 2 if not 3 days per week in this wave for nearly 9 years. The Lighthouse session you caught was classic. Great job of portraying one of my favorite places in the world with some of my favorite people. Shout out to Godpower, MC Black and John!! Miss you guys, y'all kept me sane during my stay in Eko. Thanks for a lifetime of memories, Georg
Such a dope film!
This Video cheered me up.
Wow, I am Nigerian and I have lived in Lagos for 40 years and I am yet to go to that Takwa Bay! Thanks for the inspiration.
Super cool video !!😎 the surfing and vibe was epic ! I have one thing that could have made it better !! Lagos is the center of global music for the last few years .. would be cool if you would have used some local music especially in Lagos to capture the local energy🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
I know, I know... wish I could go back in time. When I made this in 2016 I wasn't quite as focused on the music element as I should have been. That being said, if I were to re-edit a version just for you, what songs/artists would you suggest? You obviously know your stuff...
Great short film with a good vibe! Love Africa and their people🙌🏽🤙🏽
Amazing, I love this!
Felt like I was there with you. Truly awesome!
Great !!
Jose Pablo Walter shot!

Cool Video, really dug this!
This is awesome. Deserves more views!
Daebak! These guys make me want to leave the office @ Ikeja on a Monday morning meeting and come surf with them. ❤
Awesome vid!
Is this for real,i mean is this wave from the Lagos beach or Southern California?! AMAZING!! Thanx for sharing it.

I really enjoyed this video, keep it up bro
Alaneme Judith chiamaka shot bro!
Nice ☝️
Epic film bru, we have such an incredible continent
That we do man!
I found a spot to learn how to surf! That Island is beautiful
An Amazing video---Step into the blue and the turquoise, to embrace the warmth and satisfy the curiosity of your imagination. If there’s one trait that’s distinctly Barbadian it’s believing in a bright destiny out there and the quest for positive fulfillment in life. From Hastings rocks to the Geneva highs. Put down the quarrel and ride the vibe. Why not help one another on the way, and make it much easier. Deeper Soul by Ty Ajani.
You guys gotta check out Mozambique!
This was my spot till a boat wreaked and now its all sheet metal everywhere
Brilliant ! Your video is a different from all the other videos I've seen about Lagos. Have you considered starting a standard surfing training 'school' in Lagos?
Phranciz Dann thank you man, I don't live there I live in SA
Thanks for your reply, mate. Even though you live in SA, I think you can still run a business in Lagos. No boundaries, mate.
I wish you all the best in your endeavours.
I agree.
Yooooooo! This is so dope! We shot a video i Tarkwa Bay as well, but yours beats ours hands down! lol.
Thanks ha ha, where's the link to yours? :)

*Fingers crossed*
Better coverage of Lagos surf than Bruce Brown's Endless Summer! Did the film by any chance inspire your trip ?
The local boy now a grown kid now
what water case you use?
Nelson Bautista hey man it's an SA brand called Brother Housings
Nicely filmed video. Honestly would be nice to hear African sounds and music to the footage but still a great Film. Thank you
Lighthouse left
We lack the creative ability. That guy is great
Speak for yourself. Black make a way out of no way..now that's creativity!
Um Black people are literally the pop cultural trend setters so i vehemently disagree!
Nice video and great waves! Just shame the sound track is so shity!!! Its amazing how so often surfers are so short sighted and ignorant (just no to say desrespectfull to local cultures...) Nigeria has some of the best pop and tradicional music in the world, why not to play it and give a better feeling of what surfing and going to Nigeria is?
That would've been great. Licensing music for branded content it always tricky but yeah that would've definitely made for a more authentic and interesting film. Nigeria has always had some amazing music and artists
