Chris, what communication device do you like better for your wing? Do you sacrifice in quality of the sound if you use sena blue tooth device vs corded head set? Thanks, Z
Hey Chris, I just purchased the Sena SM 10 transmitter , the SM10 headset and the five prong cable. I've read that this cable will allow me to use my CB through Bluetooth is that correct?
mine is a smh5 device. i am trying to update de firmware following the steps (for other models just connect an usb and switch on the device),but it s impossible,it doesn t work. Anyone knows what s the problem? And how can i change from english to spanish ,the language prompts? Thanks in advance.
I wanted to see if anyone having the same issue as me. Everything works find until I plug in my 3.5 jack from my phone to the freewire. Then I can barely hear anyone on the CB. Now I just need to listen to streaming music and use the CB, flawlessly. Yes, the 20s and Freewire firmware is updated.
No need to plug your phone into the Freewire, when your phone is bluetoothed to your Sena helmet because your phone music should stream wirelessly to your helmet.

I wanted to do an update for my fix. I have install Aux Cable 3-pin to 3.5 MM Jack Audio Adapter for my Honda Goldwing. So, now I have my phone plug directly to my Goldwing and use my Aux. No whining noise, I can hear the CB loud and clear and everyone can hear me. So my fix was to make the phone integrated to the Gold Wing sound system and use the freewire to Bluetooth all the Audio to the 20s.
You do a better job of explaining how to upgrade the firmware then Sena does. Sena needs to have you as an employee. Thanks

It's easy to forget, just choose the right operating system type, 32 or 64 bit system if your using Windows.

I just bought a used Sena 20S Evo. First thing I did was to update the firmware on both units. The latest version is 2.0.
Excellent video!!! Can I use another micro USB cord as I've misplaced the one that came with it.

Corded will always sound better, but the wireless is not bad either.

did you get any help? I have same unit and same issue wont even recognise my headsets. Emailed Sena and no word from them
I can't download the device manager software, it says virus detected. Any idea how to get around this?

Sorry you are having trouble streaming music, I included a online link to the Sena 20s manual, look at pages 22 and 23, maybe this will help.
