A true legend, Hogmanay isn't the same without him, I watch all the last calls with both a smile and a tear in my eye ( especially this one ) cause u could see he was failing yet to the end he always gave a seamless and perfect performance, much loved and very much missed

I grew up in Scotland, and I remember it well. Rikki does it brilliantly.
A true legend. This is the life my gran lived and then she moved with half the family to the states. I ended up marrying a person from Paisley and we moved to Kilwinning. I had a lovely life in Scotland. We retired to Costa Rica. Love it except the spiders the size of our hands. LOL But this play brought ma life to missing ma home too. And speak a lot of weegie. Cannae beat it. Watch this every year. Thank you for posting.

There is this most delightful irony a character playing a depressed person who spends his time cheering others up. That is the genius of this sketch.

loved Rikki's dry sence of humor, the way he could look through the camera and draw you right into his story lines hanging there waiting for the next gem, I miss the man but he will not be forgotten as long as we all keep him in our hearts and floating around cyber space to pop out every now and then for all generations to appreciate his tallents. thanks to daveraveuk and all other uploaders much appreciated
I think of any young person in Scotland wants to study acting they should look at this genius and take notes because he is one of a kind and a real diamond never been found again

This makes any Scot homesick! Especially watching so called Funny comedy skit's on North American Shows, like Friend's or two and a Half Men, that shouldn't even run past one episode! They just don't come close, to Classic "Rare Hidden Gem, episodes like this!"
I remember in the eighties his advert on the telly where he listed everything that had gone wrong for him the tried to sell "Lucky white heather" and it still brings a smile to my face all these years later. A wonderful talent.

Saw that in 1999 on the TV. Problem was everyone was laughing too much for me to hear it. Glad it is back on somewhere I can watch it.
My number one great comedian that had all the family around the telly in knots ,the auld Rev as he was a fantastic comedian and so much more God Bless Rikki Fulton
