There seems to be loads of fibreglass dinos around America! I found your channel when I found your video about the Flintstones roadside attraction and I've been addicted to your videos since. You've inspired me to FINALLY start exploring more around my own counties here the UK.

Jurassic Park's Velociraptors are the size that they are because of a Palaeontologist named Gregory S. Paul. He decided that Velociraptor and Deinonychus (The Jurassic Park raptor) were actually different species of the same animal, and for a few years, they were the American Velociraptor antirrhopus and the Mongolian Velociraptor mongoliensis (The original, smaller one). Michael Crichton, the author of the Jurassic Park novel, decided to include Velociraptor antirrhopus in his book, but by the time the movie adaptation came out, Deinonychus was separate from the Velociraptor genus. This also the reason that the Velociraptor skeleton in Jurassic Park is being unearthed in Montana rather than Mongolia.
Utahraptor was discovered as Jurassic Park was in post-production, so the filmmakers, in a way, almost predicted the discovery
Dilophosaurus in reality is a much larger animal than portrayed in Jurassic Park. It would have likely been the apex predator of its ecosystem, the Kayenta Formation, and preyed upon the basal prosauropods of the area. It probably wouldn't have needed a frill to survive, as it wouldn't have had any predators hunting it. Its crests were large, hollow, and connected to the animal's respiratory system, so could possibly be used as Resonating chambers to create loud, booming sounds.

Dinosaurs are always fun...especially fiberglass ones. My favourite dino is an ankylosauraus. Thanks for explaining the jokes. 🤣
Don't sacrifice your Crocs. I have old ones that are too worn out to wear but I am so attached to them. Lol
"Underneath the colours of flesh, we are all the same"... metallic and cold.
That was so neat that you got to hold Magnolia the Gator!
It was cool that the moon was shining through the star you posed in front of when entering Texas.

I think we passed each other when you went through Rayne! Nonc Kev's has an awesome Tasso Sandwich. I'm glad you saw the little frogs scattered around town. The Chamber of Commerce has maps of their locations, plus they have a Frog Pond behind their office! And if you check with them ahead of time, it's possible to hold a frog! Thursday afternoon I was at the Fire Museum in Beaumont for my channel, and visited the giant fire hydrant for the second time. The museum is pretty cool if you get to go back. I was attacked by the dinosaur that banged his tail on the wall at Prehistoric Park. That room was pure chaos when I went through! Safe travels, and have fun in Houston!

As well as your frog analysis, too. Your trip through the dinosaur park was hilarious!!! Really dug the frog mural town, too!!! I think you have an excellent talent for unearthing unusual places in the American panorama and making them seem very special!!! That is a rare talent and your constant narration is witty and interesting and fun!!! I love how you are with the animals, like Magnolia the baby alligator, and I always look forward to you riding whatever child's toy ride you come across!! Your a delight to watch!!!! So the joke is that the park had actually brought Utahraptors back to life but their pop star scientists insisted they were velociraptors? Also, great place for a dino park. Louisiana countryside looks like a primeval forest a lot of the time, so all it needed was the statues.
Also, I never thought a lengthy and unnecessarily elaborate explanation of an obvious joke could be funnier than the real joke. That was very cute. And in honor of the bank frog, I share this joke in case anyone here hasn’t heard it:
A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack. ‘Ms. Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday.’
Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it's okay, he knows the bank manager.
Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral.
The frog says, ‘Sure. I have this,’ and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.
Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager, and disappears into a back office.
She finds the manager and says, ‘There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there, who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30,000. And he wants to use THIS as collateral.’ She holds up the tiny pink elephant. ‘I mean, what in the world is this?’
The bank manager looks back at her and says......
‘It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone.’
