Hotpoint dishwasher not filling with water, check all of these simple things first

Our Hotpoint ltb 4b019 dishwasher wasn't filling with water after a programme was selected, turns out it was a simple fix in this case however if you have the same issue it could be this or several other things to check first before considering getting an engineer out or replacing the machine. Dishwasher had moved a bit too far and it was the contactor ^^

Thanks for teaching us! I have a similar dishwasher, Sometimes our dishwasher doesn't let water in and sometimes it does. The dispenser sometimes works but we often have to switch off the mains and turn it on again to get it work. Do you have solution for this! Thank you!

Hey, our same dishwasher seems to not complete a cycle. It tries but it leaves water at the bottom and the tablet is intacted
Any ideas? Appreciate any help i can get xx
