Incidentally, it is incumbent on non execs to make themselves familiar with all aspects of the business.
He didn't much care for Mr Beer's questions on the amount of time he "worked" did he? After pointing out he had a massive workload at the
Post Office which meant he couldn't focus on Horizon problems, Mr B revealed Mr Parker wanted to go to 2 days a month from 1 1/2 days a week. This former Chairman apparantly gets more done by reducing the time he works by 66%.
Great gig if you can get it but I suppose it depends on ‘what school’ you go to!
He’s not mentioned his salary or hourly rate for his compensation package plus benefits……for the 1 1/2 days
I can hardly believe what I'm hearing!!!
Well, that was a word salad
Not enough time , he’s passing the buck another thing never trust a man who wears a syrup , funny handshake brigade close racks , they all knew about horizon wasn’t working properly , letting those postmasters prosecuted some ending in prison
I think a lot of people would like to work 2 days a month for their remuneration , but I’m sure a company wouldn’t survive long
He's got his head in the clouds.
He wouldn't inspire confidence.
A glowing icon of self entitled arrogance-and with a mighty obscene pay package to boot no doubt.
What about the perspective of the Sub Post Masters who were wronged? They were very active and energetic in defending themselves against spurious allegations which cost them dearly. This bloke seems to think that his workload is too much at 1 and a half days a week and wanting to reduce that to two days a month. Strike a flaming light mate, I'm flummoxed.
As he said he did 60 meetings a year which would take half a day, so that leaves one day. I take it half of that day was combing his mop while preening in the mirror, 2 hour lunch and day over as he likes to leave early.
Yes it was, you also are to blame, how do you sleep at night
