You pay for the badge and ofcourse the ridiculous import tax. If people didn't care about badge iPhones wouldn't sell and Bernard Arnault wouldn't be one of the richest man on earth.
@@seauryakumar who tf want a mini badge. Even the car enthusiast in UK don't buy mini now so are you expecting the normal guy to buy mini. If I have to buy a luxury car at that price then Volvo is available there. Anyhow Volvo has more brand value than the swift ops mini 😂😂.
@@_Anurag_Thakur_ First of all don't swear, I'm not your buddy. Now to respond to your comment, there are people not a lot of people who will buy a mini just like there are some people who might not buy a Volvo because it's chinese. It's a big market and we have a massive population, all sorts of customers exists. These cars are on sale in India because of that fact.
@@seauryakumar The phone you are using is most probably made of up Chinese components so how on earth you can shame Chinese products using Chinese phone Mr hypocrite 🥴🥴.
The entire review seemed negative for some reason. Also what about the range of this ev? The presenter & script writers could've done a better job. All I could gather was "not worth the 60 lakhs and that there are better options at around half that price." that's about it.
There's a reason no one is talking about it, because these don't make you feel like the company has blatantly cut costs and made the owners feel shortchanged. In fact, the touch, feel as well as operation of these door handles befits a premium car.
Was this a rushed review? For one, Saumil didn't seem very prepared with the delivery of the script, even though he usually nails it in his other reviews. And second and most importantly, did you guys actually miss talking about the range and charging time and speed? In an EV review?! I have the Ionic5, XC40 Recharge and 1X in my consideration set and am keen to now add this one also for further research so those were the variables I was most keen to know, but you never even covered it!
Thank you for the feedback. As far as range goes, the company claims a city range of 566km and a WLTP combined range of 462km on a full charge. Mini also claims that using a 130kW DC fast charging, one can recharge its battery from 10-80% in 29 minutes. However, we didn't get a chance to test it for ourselves to pass a definitive verdict on these.
@@lorins8687 I own a BMW X1 (on to my 7th year with the car) and I absolutely love it. So you can understand why the EV version of the same car could actually be the potential replacement next. I have about a year to decide which brand and model I should buy. I am 90% convinced that the next purchase will be an EV and not ICE.
@@lorins8687 Regular servicing costs are about 5x higher than a regular Indian or Korean brand car because it is BMW, so there is a premium. Other than the annual servicing, nothing else has gone wrong so far.

A big thumbs up 👍 for the review! A massive thumbs down 👎 for the car! A car costing more than 6 million rupees WITHOUT 6 airbags, and that too IN 2024?!? What on Earth were Mini thinking? 🤔 Even cars like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios & Exter, and even the new (4th gen.) Maruti Suzuki Swift provide 6 airbags AS STANDARD FEATURES!

Front looks swift more than swift itself 😮
Yeah,,due to the headlights
The review was made just to let us all know that Curvv EV and other EVs lesser than half the price are way better than this xD
This makes the Curvv and XUV400 seem like luxury cars. They actually have a driver's display and climate controls.

I hate what's happening to the Mini. We've gone from the Austin Cooper to a Countryman? What for?
The round infotainment system looks awesome and that makes this car so premium !
No one is talking about the old school door handles or is that a problem only in the Citroen....

Why ain't the gasoiline version available here?
would opt for the internal combustion PHEV variant of the Countryman with AWD . . .
Audi grill in the front bmw x1 body and a little bit tough to make it look like a mini copper, Not at all good l....
What about the range?
Please tell me battery change cost after 1.5L km & 8 year company warranty
Looks like swift from the front😅
Did this car fail at safety test? NCAP?
windsors back seat acts like enemy , try unrecline it.
Is the Mini countrymans headlights inspired by Maruti swift 😂 ..missing the round shaped sigrature MiNi headlights 😢
Missing the round headlights😢
Central information display not at all convenient.Front seat headrests are problematic .All in all poor package.
Why the hell does it look like the new swift
Seems like the guy doing this review is also not liking and not interested but still doing for the sake of his job 😢
Bhai swift kyu na le li jaye iski jgah😁😂
Swift trying to be Mini and Mini trying to be Swift now 😅
Saumil resembles Nikhil Kamath a little bit
I mean if everything is going to turn into a swift.... Where will the swift find its value! 😂😂
Lack of safety features is a shockingly bad. Yikes. 😮
