„While you're enjoying it - leave” - words of wisdom.
I'm enjoying writing this comment... I'll let myself out.
Wise words of George Costanza
That's how I deal with parties.
he was correct
Antonio Dragonheart It's true though, that's a great rule to live by.
"So is this bye-bye?"
"No, it's 'fawkity-bye.'"
Nicholas Tosoni fuckity bye
Nicholas Tosoni BRILLIANT
Peter Capaldi's next role: Ludwig van Beethoven
The bootstrap paradox

"Will I offend the Nazis if I say yes? Ah, to to hell with them! YES!" Oh, I love you, Peter. I will miss you terribly as much for your brilliant Doctor as for your brilliant work as ambassador for the show. Not only do you clearly love the show a lot, but you have great feeling for the impact of the show and what it represents and stands for socially and politically.
It's so weird at this point to actually for once hear the phrase "Offending the Nazis" actually mean offending the Nazis.
I really don't want him to go
Steve Harwell I do and I don't
GOD I think he's had his fair share
J LA why'd you quit watching dr who?! Because he's "too old"
Eoghan Daly wow that's rude just going on his age it might be because hey don't like the episodes he's in or his character, like I liked matt Smith because he was funny and weird and he liked fish fingers and custard . like really
Chocolate Field it's a valid complaint, many people sadly stopped watching this as he wasn't young enough which I don't see as a valid point, yes the writing has become poor but he's definitely the best actor to grace the doctor since the show came back echoing the classics, didn't mean for the comment to sound rude sorry, just annoys me :)
I love Peters german accent Impression 😂😂😂😂
Me too 😂😂
He seemed to get even more scottish when he did it rofl
I love Peter's look when Graham doesn't know that the Daleks are based on the nazis.
I don't know that to
@@theepicpeople3185 Watch Genesis of the Daleks. Can't be more on the nose than that.
To be fair, it's possible that they weren't very specifically Nazis until Genesis. But yeah, ever since Genesis they've been pretty explicitly Nazis.
@@BatmanAoD Genesis definitely existed before Graham Norton did.
@@timrob12 Right, I'm not saying it makes sense that Norton didn't know, it's just that they weren't necessarily "based on" the Nazis originally.
Peter Capaldi gives this classic vibe that I can't resist, definitely my Doctor.
If 10 was the hero and 11 was the mad man, then 12 is The Rockstar. I love it.
And while series 8 was a bit off, series 9 was tremendously amazing, and series 10 left me waiting for more.
I don't know what I'm gonna do when he's not in the role any more.
4 years on, what did you do next?
@@Liam3015 watch the show of course, I'm in love with 13th, Jodie's a lovely Doctor 🥺 Gonna miss her when she regenerates, but I'm enthusiastic about RTD returning 👐
Cry, cause they've ruined the Storytelling
@@valerianaranjocruz25 wowie thats an unpopular opinion
What about now? Personally I think they should’ve gave 14th doctor a heroic death rather than a bi generation. To me, doctor who died after Peter capaldi left
Peter Capaldi had THE best Dr Who line ever when he resurrected: "I'm Scottish! I can complain about things!" As a Scott, I had to pause the show to stop laughing!
I love peter capaldi. ❤️
Peter Capaldi will always be my Doctor.
MikeRiderOOO he is my doctor too he was the best to me
Peter Capaldi never felt like a Doctor to me. Sure he is enjoyable but when compared to Matt Smith or David Tennant he is my least favourite.
MikeRiderOOO you must be 10 year olds
My favourite was David Tennant
But Peter Capaldi was great as The Doctor
6 years later....i miss him so much ... I love smith and Whittaker...but capaldi something else hits me ....his three series are the best 💙💙
Yes,he was great wasn't he?
@@kenpudsey6435 incredible just incredible best ers of the show
As a german I laughed out loud at that. Don't you worry Peter, we aren't that easily offended, those of us who are even remotely decent human beings hate our past just as much if not more so than everyone else
Not to offend anyone, but I have to say just how absolutely ideal today's Germany is, socially. If there ever was a country that learns from its history, Germany's it. Like, in comparison to Sweden, Norway and Finland, countries I live in or visit regularly, you all have a lot to be proud of.
You can hate your past for all the terrible things they did, but never forget it. It's an important event in global history. Just like, as a Brit, I will never forget how we enslaved half the world and were horrible to them with the Empire
@@benfarmer-webb1016 Don't worry. In Germany we are taught about that dark era in History class. We learn about it a lot to make sure nothing like that will ever happen again.
@@SunniestAutumn that aged like milk. Germany now supporting israel's genocide and also throwing hands at their own people who stand with Palestinians goes to show that the government is on the wrong side of the history.
I wish americans and brits had the same attitude as you❤
Love his hair
10th Doctor: I don't want to go.
11th Doctor: I'll always remember when the Doctor was me.
12th Doctor: Fuckity-bye!
12th Doctor: Doctor, I let you go
What a wonderful actor. Such control and creativity over his vocal and physical range.
its probs gonna be the character from the fires of Pompeii episode that the doctor "got his face from"
Nathan Interesting idea
Laurentz Yaaas, and I can't wait for tomorrow's new episode
yeah as in the new doctor will go back and visit the that same guy from series 4 settled in rome after 10 saved him potentially
Nathan Yeah, probably, I like that idea. And then some mindblowing moment will happen
Love the theory :O
I remember when I hated peter capadli for taking the place of matt smith and now I love him as the doctor
Maria Sb lol isn't that the usual cycle
Maria Sb I relate to this comment on a spiritual level
rewatching it all now...i kinda like him better than Matt Smith.
i don't want him go.
Arda Shelby I don't wanna go
My thoughts on Matt Smith.
He didn't want to. He was planning on another two seasons but Moffat was leaving and Chibs said he would only take the show if they let him hire a female Doctor. Peter was pushed out and you can tell he was heartbroken about it. And it's not like what we got was an improvement by any stretch of the imagination. For me Peter will always be the final doctor
@@madeleine5561 Spot on
I'm really going to miss him. He was an excellent doctor.
Miranda Hart looks mad confused and scraggly-haired. Like she just came out the shower, sat down and turned the telly on. Only she's inside the telly and wondering how she got here.
J Alex Hahahaha
Wouldn't go that far mate. She probs just hasn't caught up with last season of Who.
SPOT ON!!! 😂😂😂
The twist at the end of this comment was wonderful
2:18 love the "really face he gives when graham asks him about the dalek like other dr who fans would
Peter Capaldi is the most brilliant Doctor.
his hair is so pretty here it's so fluffy
Capaldi's face in the tumbnail is pure gold.
I don't want him to go. His hair is awesome btw omg
Damn fine Doctor. Gonna miss him.
People going on about whether he's their Doctor. To me, he'll always be Malcolm Tucker.
Happy birthday Peter
Hmm, in his Scottish accent saying "Berlin" sounded a bit like "bell end" at first. Or, maybe I just need my ears checked.
Herman Von Petri I heard "bell end" too.
Oil them and your willy :)
so did I, haha.
I'm not ready for Peter to leave this role! He really became the Doctor in Season 9, and Season 10's performances were absolutely outstanding. Would have loved to have seen him in 1 season with Chibnell before Jodie Whitaker comes in. But I suppose its right to have a new actor and writer start together.
I've always found it interesting when actors from the UK talk about how demanding producing 6 to 12 episodes of a series a year can be. Here in the US, broadcast TV produces between 13 and 26 episodes of a show per year. In the 1950s we produced up to 40 episodes a year.
The thing is, they spend a lot more time shooting each episode. 12 episodes in 10 months of shooting means that it's taking a little over three weeks to film each episode.
And all TV used to be done the way American TV was in the 50s. Most of the earliest seasons of Who had 40+ episodes per season.
Loved his German accent. So sad to see him go, but "times change... and so must I" even though we don't want him to go.
You know Eccleston and Tennant you kind of grasped onto quickly as the Doctor and made them yours just as fast but Smith and Capaldi took their own time to grow on you and now that Capaldi has grown on me, I'm so not ready to say goodbye
Isn't that always the case!
Zombies vs Cockneys vs Cockney Nazis vs Nazi Daleks vs Nazi Cockney Daleks
Birger Halvorsen aren't daleks based off nazis.
He was a great Doctor, although I think he was somewhat hamstrung by Moffat. I'd have love to have seen him under a different producer. Still, I'm thankfully for 3 years.
I couldn't agree more
Robert McGovern well his potential was reached in series 10 methinks. it has been incredible and I hope the doctor falls gives him justice.
really? season 10 was quite boring imo, he had amazing episodes in 8 and 9 like listen, heaven sent and the underwater one with the bethoven intro.
He also has the best caracter arc of all the modern doctors and none of those episodes finish with a deus ex-machina moment.
At first I didn't like him as I watched the regeneration episode and it was alright and then the next two after. I thought I didn't like him until I rewatched Dr. Who and realized how bad the writing is sometimes. Steven Mophat has done some good work but he has done a lot of bad work too. Peter is a excellent actor and he is the only reason Dr. Who survived the past 3 years. I hope the new writer does well. I also hope that's the outfit for the female doctor is not going to have bad writing or the revealed outfit. I'm hoping for the best with doctor who.
Oh no, what they did to Jodie were terrible!
David will always be my favorite doctor, and every time a new actor comes to play the doctor I don't like, but then at the end I love all of them and when I'm used to a doctor he just leaves😢
FG Masís David Tennant, the 10th doctor
HE WILL NOT CHANGE!
I always get a laugh everytime watch Graham Norton, he is just a blast of fun! Keep on that Graham! Greetings from Peru!!
Peter will always be my doctor ✨💙
Even if Capaldi were doing less than his best work, he'd still be great.
I love him so much!!!
Peter is a good guy and a great actor 👍
Please come back
Peter going full 'Doctor Who geek mode' knowing that Terry Nation based the Daleks on the Nazis
this man is so intense
His hair is so cool
i'm a german and a big whovian and i just wanted to say: the german accent he does sumes up the person who don't learn english just perfect😂
"They are cockney Nazis. There are few of those!" Oh how times have changed...
I will miss him
😂 Haha!! That ending got me so good
I love you Peter!
I like how they publish this on his birthday
I can't believe the thought just came to me just now. Peter should stay and continue writing for Doctor Who!
Anyone else feel the tension when he started the Dalek impression....? Good on ya Pete 😂
The thumbnail portrays Capaldi's emotions on this perfectly...
I love you so much Peter Capaldi! You are a great actor and you are a sweety pie. I am going to moss you so so much!
u know when i first heard of Peter Capaldi as the new doctor i had my doughts but when i watched the first 2 episodes i thought he played the part of Dr who Perfectly
Capaldis hair game is on point
he's my favourite. I don't' want him to go
Same hair as he does in the Doctor Falls and the Christmas special.
"Who I am is where I stand , where I stand is where I fall" -12 doctor (Peter)
Say what you will about the scripts and the storylines, but I really liked Peter Capaldi's characterization of the Doctor
I wish he could have had his hair like this in DW. He looks great for a man who's turning 59 today.
Happy Birthday, Peter! :)
I have met Peter Capaldi it was fun.
You know, after every Doctor leaves... I always feel really really disappointed, and am definitely skeptical about the next one that's supposed to come along - it usually starts out with a bit of animosity with a new Doctor, but I always end up falling in love with them either way! 😊 At first I was really against Peter Capaldi being a Doctor, but hey, now I don't wanna see him leave; all the different actors and their different portrayals will forever keep you on your toes, and I think that is what makes Doctor Who so amazing! 😜
only 12 episodes a year. what a leisurely pace.
Don't mention the war. Reminds me of that Fawlty Towers episode. LOL
I'll miss him as the doctor and your fantastic hair (like 9th would said).
After david tennant Peter capaldi is my favorite
He will be missed
'you do 12 episodes a year' ...doctor house fans laugh
I can just see actors over here doing 23 episodes a season rolling their eyes at his 12 episode a year comment.
It makes sense when you realize that they spend longer shooting those 12 episodes than most US shows spend shooting 23.
Miranda! With Peter Capaldi!!🎉
I'd have quite liked to see a one off, like a Christmas special, with her in it... I don't think she could quite pull off a series like Catherine Tate did, but I love when they bring in comedians for single episodes.
Where's the full episode
The Queen and the Doctor!
the last doctor
It funny how people say no one will like it when he started but now we don't want him to go
He acts like himself on screen lol. That means he is awesome
Television Factory - Harlan Ellison would agree. He really despises TV / reply with an almost SUPERNATURAL passion.
I think he's gonna regenerate into John Smith
I hope he plays Wenger, when they make a movie about him ;)
I,M GOING TO MISS PETER CAPALDI AS DOCTOR WHO.
Who's here after the 1st doctor returned
Sounds like (and tell me if I'm wrong) that the Twelfth Doctor dies at the end of Season 10 but he comes back somehow in the Christmas special. I think, at that point, he'll playing some part in the new doctor's introduction.
Hmm, Moff did do a passing of the torch thing between 11 and 12 so it's possible. I hope not. I'd rather just get on with it.
suncore598 multi doctor story? Unlikely but given we have a story with two masters, I suppose it wouldn't be out of the question
how brilliant was he in "the thick of it",
I always thought the 4th Doctor and the 12th Doctor had the same voice, though number four's was just a tad higher.
the floof is real
At 1:45, I call that the Capaldi manoeuvre
Oh man, that hair is amazing. Sad that his Doctor doesn't have that hair actually.
Justin Ramroop you forget that filming isn't live ;)
The Doctor did now have this hair!
Little did we know back then that his hair would get even longer while on the show
Warren's face at 1:13
"Iz it true that ze Daleks were based on ze Nazis?"
"Yes!"
"WELL, THAT'S ALRIGHT, THEN!"
I haven't seen a new episode in over a year on BBC America. Wth?
Do you not remember the Tennant episode Journey's End with the Dalek Invasion and the Daleks speak German while Martha Jones gets the Osterhagen Key.
I did not understand, does the show finish or just Peter leaves the show?
I can’t believe who the 13th Doctor is
enter the valeyard. he's next.
Lol "Don't mention the war"
I know he will say I don't want to go and I remember when the doctor was me 😥😥😥😥😥😥
