- The sun does indeed shine bright. The lads have returned from the always A-MA-ZING Show of Shows in beautiful Louisville, Kentucky, and break out the camera (and the Imperial) to share a look at the spoils.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes even more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world Tom or Ob would be able to engage with everyone in the comment section, but alas the world is far from perfect. Tom doesn't know how (and refuses to learn) and Ob is something of a Luddite.

Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls RUclips "the U-TOOBZ".

You did well, Wittmann. I'm a headgear collector, but still enjoy the blades. If you bought 10-15 daggers, that's quite a wonderful load. I would be ecstatic if I brought home 10-15 officer visor caps!
looking at your vidios i keep interested in the hobby , otherwise i think i,am the only one who collets german daggers.

you guys sound a bit trashed by the end of the video.lol. I have watched a lot of the videos and just a question what is your definition of a mint blade. as there seems to be a lot of variation. in terms of scratches blemishes or ground off lettering.
There is a fine line between gloriously drunk and drunk as a hoot owl . Since this was performed in a cellar , and the wife pushing you home in a wheel barrel was not needed , you fellers did a glorious job .
I was also glorious as I misspelled wheel-barrow .
Friend Wittmann - I have made computer inquiry on several items being told they are gone however they constantly appear on the listing months afterword. I do not want to tie up you phone line. Anyway let us all enjoy a relaxing tumbler of Old Barn Owl!

Gemeinde means basicly village ( in religious context it means the member of a special noted church), which is still used for every settlement, which is not a Stadt ( town). There are rather old towns, dating back to medieval or even roman age. Some have nowadays millions of inhabitants, some lesser than 1000. Every old ,Town Right '/ Stadtrecht of mornarchy era is still ok today. But there are also towns, which got their ,Town Right' in last few decades. To become officialy a Stadt / town a Gemeinde must grow to over 10000 inhabitants, and other things, i don' t know. Formerly every settlement with town right was fortified with walls, ditches and other obstacles, which is pf course no more done. But every mayor of a town still has a ceremonial key, to lock the no more existing gates. In case of war, giving the ceremonial key to a milliarry Commander is the sign of capitulation.
Forgotten: Villages had been in old days usually not fortified ( sometimes church and graveyard was fortified), only surrouded by a hedge or simple fence.
