- In this episode of DtC Tom battles a nasty cold as well as his sadness that Johnny the Boy has to head back to Germany. Much sniffling ensues.

In a perfect world Tom or Ob would be able to engage with everyone in the comment section, but alas the world is far from perfect. Tom doesn't know how (and refuses to learn) and Ob is something of a Luddite.

Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls RUclips "the U-TOOBZ".

I really look forward to Johnny returning here in the near future. I love when you have special guests, Tom. Makes the channel all that more enjoyable. I especially like when you allow your guests to tell is about an item or two. The channel keeps getting better and better.

That was a Purple Heart medal not a good conduct medal.
Odd he didn't even mention the Purple Heart but everyone knows what they are. It was the first medal I learned about and it is probably that way for most. The GC medal has a solid red ribbon.
Think of the guy, in the German mess hall, cutting his dinner with that knife, and not realizing that one day it would be down some guys cellar in Moorestown, New Jersey USA. 😁😃

Your‘e right , he was not member of the waffen SS not wearing a dagger knot .

He’s a big time reputable dealer(with daggers second to none). They are sending it to Wittmann so he can buy their items and cut them a check. That or it’s on consignment and if/when Tom sells it then the owner will get paid and Tom a percentage as a selling fee. Hope that helps :)
