Can confirm, as Faust, the chipp matchup feels fucking miserable. I don't feel like I can actually press buttons at any point in the match.

if gamma blade worked in strive like it did in xrd and nothing else about the character changed, i think he would be the best character in the game
otherwise, i can agree with top 7 maybe top 5
it's weird to see sol only slightly win the matchup but thinking about it, that's probably the best spot. full disclosure though, a lot of us don't like the chipp matchup either so at least no one's having fun there i guess :/
it's also weird to hear you say that his 2S is problematic for chipp to deal with considering how much recovery it has. is it because of how active it is?
Disjointed, active frames, low profiles Chipp's f.S would be my guesses
baiken is just the ultimate robber character but yeah its pretty even in the end
imo chipp wins anji slightly, chipp just has better neutral, raw rekka and grab spin basically
The thing with Chipp is that regardless the situations you only need 2 bad situations (or maybe only 1) to lose the round, that is why I really can't play him online ranked and only with friends
I've been sayin' this since season 1, chipp is cheap af.
