Sorry if I have to correct you, but flaps 1 is already at 1:55. If the flap lever is switched from 0 to 1 at above 100 kts, only the slats extend. 2:24 is infact already flaps 2. Also, there are no numbered spoiler extension slots. They are just selected to a certain degree. Sorry for being such a know-it-all. I just feel the urge to correct such mistakes whenever I see them :(

Red Bull didn’t say I knew what it was, could be any other mechanisms of the airplane, hydraulics or any other electric tech. Just doesn’t sound like engine to me

The A320 never fails to amaze me. But the A380 as nimble and as graceful as any other smaller airliner is beyond me. Machine perfection and precision at its finest.

I always liked the wings on the 747 the best. But I really enjoy Dan's videos, he does a really good job with steady camera and no interruptive talking. Not like some of the Blair Witch Project type recordings I've seen from other folks :D A+++

Hi, those are called the spoilers, which along with the reverse thrust help to slow the aeroplane down, in general terms. What you saw were the spoilers in the 'ARMED' postion, which block wind from flowing over that section of the wing.

Yup, it’s because when the flaps are down that part is totally empty with only the spoilers left on top

They are aerodynamic fairings that cover the flap mechanisms. They decrease not only friction drag by not having exposed mechanisms but also reduce wave drag a high Mach numbers. Google "anti-shock bodies".
