I swear. The E9x 335i is getting more and more videos on youtube. People are loving these low price modern 2JZ. I got myself a 500hp twin turbo N54 E92 and let me tell you the twins are more fun than single.
@@khumokwezimashapa2245 The car is in excellent condition. All maintenence done like gaskets, seals, waterpump, thermostat, valve cover, turbos. All these things are in this case new. For how long this will hold. Probably for 5+ to 10 years
I live in Melbourne, Australia. I had a 2011 LCI 323i with the Lifestyle option package. It was optioned basically as much as 323i here could be. It was Space Grey with the beige trim and woodgrain inserts. Beautiful package. I bought the car out of Sydney in November of 2012, and I was actually the second owner of that car, as it was owned by a couple in Sydney. I owned it until January 2022. It was my first luxury car and my first BMW. And what a lovely car it was. It was the last of the small NA inline-6 (2.5L). The sound the motor made when revved out to 6-6,500rpm was pure bliss. So silky smooth. And the handling was great. And above all, I miss the go-kart feel of the E90's smaller dimensions. That said, the steering for even a 2011 model was quite numb, but it was still quite firm. In 2014, that car saved my life. Some idiot flew over a median strip and hit me on the driver's side from behind, sending me spinning. Fortunately, I was able to control the car and stop safely. I thought the car would be a ride off, but it was repaired tremendously by a BMW repairer here in Melbourne. In fact, I found the car to be better after the crash, as it actually seemed to have softened the dampers and made the E90's rock-hard suspension much more comfortable.
I traded it in for a fully optioned 2016 (put on the road in 2017) BMW 420d Coupe in Mineral Gray. That has been a very good car thus far, but it is now 6 years old. I love the low-end torque of the 420d. I've had multiple V8 Holden Commodores in my lifetime that featured torquey GM V8s, but even none of them had low-end torque. It makes the car great in real-world circumstances. It has Adaptive Suspension, and let me tell you that it is possibly the best feature I've ever had on a car. It's still firm, but it is very compliant with our terrible roads here in Australia, whereas the E90 would use to crash and bash over every indent or bump in the road. I also find the 420d to be better in the corners, despite it not having the go-kart nature of the E90. I'm not sure whether that's due to the extra stiffness of the coupe chassis and the adaptive suspension, but it makes for a better handling combination in partnership with the more torquey motor. Overall, both have been great cars. I'd say they are both top 5 cars I've ever owned. There really is nothing like a BMW, even the new models, and I don’t think you can say you have lived as a car enthusiast until you have owned a BMW (of course, the dream is a Porsche or Ferrari, but I mean achievable).

great car, i love watching all the 335i vids on this channel (especially the modified n54s). crazy how much extra power you can extract from them without opening the engine

Great affordable set up, I have an '09 335i N54 with DCT coupe with 235,000km (8yrs now) and still going strong with no turbo rattle believe it or not. Do the "golf tee" trick, get a golf tee and undo the hose between exhaust mufflers to permanently open it & cable tie it in, gives it a nice raspy sound and opens the exhaust butterflies permanently and flows better. TECHNICALLY...the DCT is a manual believe it or not! All 3 insurance companies only insured my DCT as a manual even though it doesn't manually shift but it has 2 clutches. Be wary in case you don't have a manual license and insurance decides not to pay out, it could happen on a "technicality".
Hey guys, I had a 2007 e92 335i with that lovely twin turbo n54. Had to sell it though as I was leaving the nest and went to live on my own. Car was having some problems and I found myself not daring to push the car to the limit. 2 years later Im really wanting a e92 35i again (im lying, I've missed my e92 since the minute I sold it). Im wondering how the n55 is compared to the n54, how reliable is it as a daily car (30.000+ kms per year). Any real problems? Would love to hear your guys's opinions and experiences :)
The hankook ventus v12 evo2s are stupidly good I find them better than Michelin ps5. Better dry grip a little worse wet grip very good for hooking in street drag races
