If/When you buy a 335i, really double check everything said by the previous owner is correct (Maintenance/Mods) 90% of 335i's in 2024 are touched in some way. get maintenance receipts. as an N54 owner they are 50/50 gamble. you either get lucky on a well maintained one or an absolutely abused piece of sh*t. had mine for over a year now and have only had to do the basic maintenance (Valvecover, OFH gasket, Water pump, sparks/coils) do your due diligence and goodluck 👍

A sold 335i has always been “uncommon” most are already beat or new
mines sadly a mix of beat and new i have one with 99k miles but its very clean and luckily i got mine as a manual but there was a catch i bought it with a blown motor and now currently swapping the engine myself did all the maintenance and will be putting it in soon Already removed the front clip

i got my 135i n54 in 2012 got a new motor and trans under warranty and i maintained it 2nd to none I will never sell it

It came like that from factory my friend , but if you did come across a set it’s all clips just pull it off then clip the new set on
great timing. looking into an e92 just don't know what is good high mileage
on the the car. found a 6 speed manual, 1 owner, but 150k miles. im thinking its been well taken care of by the one owner. Every other e92 are automatics with 130k +, and 3-4 owners ya get me. The occasional auto e92 pops up with 80-90k miles, 1-2 owners, but like its automatic, ya hearr. idk for sure getting aan e92 by next month tho. just sstuck. any comments?
Yes I’d recommend the manual e92 since in my opinion it’s a better driving experience and 2 the manual can hold up in the 700s fine auto around 430 max if it was well taken care of you will only have to keep up on maintenance oil changes spark plugs and coils belt every while
Make sure the water pump is changed and watch for oil leaking.
I had mine for two years and it reached up to 120 miles. 335i lci (n55)
The issue i had was:
- Water pump
- chargpipe got wrecked
Problem that would have appeared after 120k miles:
- Injectors
- HPFP
- valve cover gasket

What ever you do. If you don't do your own work take it to a specialist to do the oil filter housing gasket 👍🏿

That N54 engine is made of plastic. S54 swap it with twin turbo, will be perfect.
S54 mid put a big turbo on n54 and go 600+ hp

@@StolenE92 that's why most people hate...I agree with 335i's being dope. but uhh it's also not really just hate for fun, driving with slippers is unsafe and stupid to be completely honest, unless that's on the top of his apartment garage building or something then it's udnerstandeable obviously as he's only driving in a parking lot, but STILL, it's unsafe. Slippers can get caught on the pedals. Shoes or even barefoot is better. just sayin bruhh
