@@StolenE92 sick. I have a pure stage 2 turbo in mine and I’m getting it back tomorrow. I’m just trying to decide what route to go for fueling. Would you recommend going ported instead of an upgraded hpfp

Seems by the video the boost doesn't fully come until your about to shift, is this due to the psi your running on a larger turbo? Mine still standard and boost kicks in fully about 4k, and debating running more boost through it but would like it to be on full boost at around the same time. Any suggestions on how to up the boost without extra lag?

@@motorizedpower4132 this video was a little older and before my tune was dialed in fully , the tuner makes the turbo gradually build boost instead of throwing boost at it. And at the time I was running very low boost on both bottom and top so yes it didn’t reach full boost till about 5k.

And to answer your question my friend I would get a custom tune and the tuner can adjust your boost to a set a point that it is safe to run for more power gain and and better timing and he will know how much boost to add without putting too much stress on the turbo, that is the best way to go about it because the tuner can turn your boost up, turn your timing up and do all those things safely and you guys can just send logs back-and-forth until you perfect the tune.

I plan on upgrading soon, good advice !

@@StolenE92 ive seen that the e82 and e92 models cant get the s55 oil pan to fit, in that case a baffled oil sump would be your next best bet.

They are common to spinning especially higher Milleage so yeah I did mine at 120,000 and tuned after I would recommend

No issues with pwg N55 just as capable as N54. The N55 has significantly less tuning opportunities but still makes a way. Mine hasn’t had a problem I found a way even though MHD is no help and it’s less aftermarket help.

Definitely bro, curious on your setup , hybrid ? Your tune must be spot on because hybrid brings in full torque super low down ( not good for rods ☹️)

Exactly why I went with a 67mm ball bearing bottom mount turbo my friend very easy on the bottom end to eventually go up to full boost top end.

List of problems that are common , and easily preventable with maintenance. I haven’t had any major issues with this car.

What ever you do. If you don't do your own work take it to a specialist to do the oil filter housing gasket 👍🏿

Filter size doesn’t matter as long as it fits the maf housing

Let me add too that, the filter being exposed openly in the engine bay is worse than if the filter was a mushroom filter instead.

People usually run 10-12mm spacer on the rear. See that thread for reference

I didn’t run spacers you don’t need them unless you start to put a bigger tire on

Low psi big turbo is essentially maxed out stock turbos , when I’m on full e85 and 25psi is where it will move completely different
