hey man thanks for this tutorial. i have a question as to how you actually import a face or body in the first place? I have been doing 2k mods for about a month now and have edited pretty much everything in the arena. Last thing I have left is the faces, but I can't figure out which files blender can read and how to import them. Any assistance would be appreciated here. Thanks
I used photoshop tricks to get rid of the blue and pink. The only time I used the side ref pic is for the side of the hair. The reference pic for the front of the face was too good to influence with side reference pics.

where did you get the miles bridges base reference. I tried opening up the dds file in photoshop but it doesnt look like it should. could it be that im replacing a legends face?
You have to match the format in your face_color DDS to the format written in the TXTR file. I believe it's BC7 but see for yourself and choose accordingly.
Everything is was working till 2:35 in the video. I followed every step up to that point exactly, but every time I click texture, the face turns to goldish brown everything. Have no idea what I could do different.
Hi! I tried to follow the steps here but I get stuck after importing the base png of my model. After switching to textures all I can see is black although in the UV image editor I can see the image perfectly fine. Not sure if I missed something. I'm in edit mode and also I clicked on the circle to select textures.

i watched that some guys are using side references pics too to paint and avoid blue/pink issues you had with this model.

U have to select all the vertices of the head in order to make the texture from the image show on the model
select the vertices first then open the image
@@joshuacarlos19 Thanks man! I found a way to solve the issue yesterday. I forgot to delete the light the camera and the other object forgot the name.
