What a great video and thank you for sharing. You have saved the day for me. I have a new Kona Dr Dew and comes with Sunrace 11-51T 12 speed cassette and Deore RD-M6100-SGS and the bike shop had the teeth on the largest cog sitting below the line and when the time came for me to retune the derailleur after 600km or so I decided to shift it up to the line as per shimano instructions. I tried everything and could not get it shift properly. So, after I watched your video I re-adjusted it back to where the shop had it and no problems. Cheers
I have exactly this configuration and my cog 7 was always a little bit lazy especially going to the high gears. My B adj was on the mark as per Shimano manual. But, as you say, apparently the mark work on the original cassette only. Once B was adjusted as you suggested, slightly lower on the mark, the shifting immediately become like an electronic one, smoothest, fastest and precise as never before. So thank you A LOT for share your experience!!!
Great video, as usual. I have this cassette on a hardtail carbon frame, paired with a Shimano XT rear derailleur and a KMC Gold 12v chain. I adjusted the distance to the 51T sproket as per the reference mark on the derailleur. It works so great I can't believe it. It shifts with confidence up and down the cassette, even when pushing hard going uphill. I also experienced the chain jump problem when pedaling backwards but only at the very begining. After a break in period of just a couple of rides on the trail, this problem desapeared completelly. In fact I can back pedal at full speed on any sproket if I wish to and the chain will stay on its sproket. I opted for a hub with HG body because of the simplicity and also because of I have more (and cheaper) cassette options to choose from. Thanks so much for your contributions.
Hello friend, I'm writing from Brazil and I would like to thank you for the tip you gave about the smaller gap between the derailleur and the cassette, it helped me a lot to adjust the bike's gears, thank you. Your videos are very good, a big hug!
I used this cassette on my bike with SLX derailleur and XT chain, never got it to shift smoothly and accurately. After installing a shimano cassette I have no problems and the shifts are crisp and accurate.
@@LoveMTB I have it working a bit but only when the bscrew all the way loosen (cage dangerously close to the largest cassette) wondering if it’ll work better if I get a sram NX cassette. I have SLX shifter and derailed.
Sorry to bug but I'm running a 11-50 11 speed with a m8000 and a ghost link. About to replace the rings again and kept listing after more range. If I move up to a 8100 and this cassette I shouldn't need the ghoat link correct?
Cred ca citesti gandurile oamenilor :)) cred ca e al 3 lea video in care imi raspunzi la intrebari la care nu am gasit raspuns. Exact pe ce am nevoie. LIKE.
I have an old Sram X9 hub and have just bought this cassette combined with the rest of the Shimano XT groupset to upgrade from a 2x10 GXP to a 1x12.. Have never done quite such a massive rebuild before so thanks for confirming for me that this will work! :D Cheers
@LoveMTB Thanks yes I had already seen it. A bit concerned about the chain slipping when back pedalling... fingers crossed that I can somehow get away with it! I can always upgrade the wheel and cassette next year 😆 Hopefully I'll get the bottom bracket spanner by the weekend and can crack on! 🤘 Cheers
I have been using a Sunrace CSMZ903 11-51 12 speed cassette. It has been fine. Not too heavy, shifts well, and has worn well enough so far (4 months of weekend use). I am using mine with a Sunrace 12 speed chain, (It appears quite similar to YBN), and a SRAM GX Eagle 12sp derailleur. I have had no problems at all with chain drop when backpedaling on the 51t cog. Setup and adjustment was easy once I found a shifter cable kink inside the shifter and replaced the cable.
Hello. I have an NX cassette (11-50) with a GX derailleur and I am looking for a replacement to improve the range. With the mz903, GX lunar derailleur and Sunrace chain, haven't you had problems with chain drops? What model of Sunrace chain were you installed? Can you tell me the duration of the cassette and chain? The cassette has the last three aluminum cogs, I say it for durability of this. Thank you.
Well, certainly wish you'd posted that video a couple of weeks ago, it would have saved me a fair share of trawling through forum posts etc. 🤣 I bought this cassette to upgrade an old 3x9 to 1x12 and so far it works like a charm (SLX RD, shifter and chain + Race Face 34T 104 BCD chainring). Wanted to go with Deore RD + XT shifter due to your videos on those but no one had the parts in store within a reasonable timeframe. Will tinker a bit with the B screw to see how that impacts shifting.
Got my mz903 cassette today along with eagle gx chain. An upgrade from sx! Never had an issue with sx ('21 mtb) but went for an upgrade this time around. Thanks for the vids.
Thank you for explaining the sunrace line up. I just ordered with gx to replace my xt 11 speed I have been carrying over to builds the last few years. The sunrace 11 speed was excellent.
I tried a gold 11 speed with matching chain. It was running on a di2 system on mtb. Never had an issue with shifting when running genuine shimano chain and cassette. After installing this brand I needed to micro adjust the di2 to even get reasonable shifting but was not able to shift onto the smallest two gears.. no matter what I did the chain would not stay on the gear and kept shifting off. The only way I could get the smallest two gears to work was to put genuine shimano gears for the two smallest. Even then the shift on 3,4 and 5 gears were always hit and miss and often required up and down shift to get it to the one I wanted. I put up with this for many kms until I had enough. Put a new shimano cassette and shimano chain. Had to re adjust the di2 micro offset back to original +4 and wow what a difference!! Quiet, shifts perfectly every time 1 thru 11. Doesn't miss a beat. Difference in quality and I suspect ramping design is chalk and cheese
The bike shop that put together my fancy imported bike were bitching about the kit coming with a sunrace cassette instead of shimano when it's advertised as a deore setup. Your video basically cleared it up for me. I guess the bike company doesn't want to have to handle wheelsets with both the older style freehubs for the SRAM setups and microspline for deore. Maybe saving a few bucks in the process. Now I wonder if the bike shop did the b adjustment like you explained... Glad I found your video.
I too had phenomenal luck with the sunrace 11 speed , so I had no issues trying the mz903 12 speed with my shimano set up and so far excellent results very happy with it!
@@LoveMTB no actually the last shimano chain I had was on my 11 speed set up , so I can't say for the 12 speed chains . I just had really good luck with kmc going all the way back to 9 speed . When I built up my 12 speed I naturally just ordered kmc , kind of a if it ain't broke dont fix it I guess on my part 😂
@@LoveMTB Good to know ! This time I ordered a kmc X12EPT model chain supposedly its slicker and shifts smoother than other models , (yet to be determined) but I hadn't thought or heard about the need to flex more , very interesting and good point 🤔, ill soon see the trails I ride and help maintain are tech and a lot of steep abrupt terrain changes, so a lot of chain stress in different ways and shifts under load and rachet moves so we will see how it holds up ;definitely will consider a shimano chain based on what you've said if I have issues👍
This is such a great video. I have two bikes with a Deore/XT derailleur and shifters plus this Sunrace MZ901/3 cassettes and it performs exactly as described. My question is about the front chainring - does it have much of an impact on shifting or chain performance? Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
The chain drop when pedaling backwards is a deal breaker for me. I had a drivetrain that used to do that (turned out to be a stretched chain) and it was so annoying
Hello. In the end I have mounted the Sunrace 11_51 12v cassette (the lightest mz903 weighs 478 grams) with a Sram group and an oval Rotor chainring. But I had to put a 12v Shimano chain because with a Sram chain it made noise and the chains were both new, so I did ok but with a 12v Shimano chain. Greetings from Spain.
As usual a pleasure to watch this kind of videos, and as usual I’m here a few years late, but so.. I own an epic with gx lunar groupset, and in a few miles (kilometers here) will need to change the cassette, I’m from Argentina here the sunrace for xd hub (the black one) is 2 almost 3 times cheaper than the gx cassette.. my worries beside the 100gr heavier, is the shifting performance. I’m really happy with the gx and at this moment I would said that pays the effort but also trust your experience more than any RUclipsr out there.. so.. what’s your verdict lighter but 3x expensive gx 520% 10-52 or heavier 10-50 cheaper sunrace?. As always thank you very much !!
Hello and thank you for the amazing content! I am running an XT 12 speed paired with an SLX cassette on one bike. On my hardtail I’m running this 12 speed Sunrace cassette with Deore and SLX. I have to be letdown by the sunrace yet. Suprisingly I prefere the shifting of the cheaper Sunrace. True there is a clonk sound shifting down. Nevertheless my Sunrace with less range does not drop from the largest cog pedaling backwards and I’m even having the better shifting experience so far. Many thanks Dave
@@LoveMTB Thank you for the reply! it’s so interesting how these things make a diference. At one point I will do my own build with all the knowledge I gained from watching your content🤩.
I really like the SunRace cassette I bought used to put on one of my bikes. Its a similar 11s 11-42t cassette and I ran it for about a year on my hardtail. I machined 1.85mm off the back end of it so it will fit on a 10s hub and despite the abuse it is holding up great.
@@LoveMTB Yes, but the freehub body for 8,9,10 speed is also slightly narrower than the freehub body for 11,12 speed. I made my 11s cassette the same width as the 10s freehub I was putting it on.
I have the microspline and it was expensive to convert my Santa Cruz rim. Thank you for the alternative... Maybe I'll convert my other 11sp to the sunrace
@@LoveMTB No it does not, but we would be able to see the difference between full hyperglide+ drivetrain and a 12s Shimano derailleur and a 13rd party cassette under load. I know you did some slowmo in the past. I'd find that really interesting. A lot of people have that setup.
A friend used the MZ903 with the new XT derailleur for some months until he sold the bike. Tried the Shimano chain, but it broke 3 times during normal use. Changed to the SRAM GX chain and all the problems got solved. He also told me that the shifting was better with the SRAM chain. Sound strange to me but i searched over the internet and found similar cases in forums.
Hey Alvaro, i have the same setup, new xt derailleur, MZ903, and shimano 12 speed chain. my shifting is very poor, despite i adjusted the b-screw as the video. So you think with the Sram 12 speed chain i can improve it?
I have this 903 with slx chain, derailleur, and shifter for a few years now, never had a problem. It shift smooth, and I followed shimano's chain length and b gap spacing, all Gucci...
@@LoveMTB You are of course absolutely right, the 5100 it is. Maybe combining it with an SLX or Deore 6100 crankset to save some weight and for the direct mount chainring. When coming from a two/three-by-drivetrain, I would probably just buy some Chinese chainring and use the old crankset.
Thank You for your knowledge base. I recently bought a Gaint Escape 2. It came with an 8-speed two-chain ring. I want to customize it to a 12-speed with one chain ring of About 50 teeth. Can you clarify what I need to purchase for it to work correctly? Aloha.
No worries Check out the Shimano CUES for a budget option. Or get SunRace 11-51 like this with a Shimano deore 12 speed shifter derailleur and call it a day
I know this video is nearly 2 years old now but hopefully someone can answer my question. I bought a direct-drive bike trainer that does not have the option of a microspline hub (got it really cheap on a sale). I have a bike with the new 12 speed Shimano Deore groupset that I'd like to use with the trainer (can't justify buying another bike for it). Will this SunRace cassette solve my problem? The trainer comes with the HG freehub.
@@LoveMTB Thanks for the response! I was wondering if I made a mistake by buying the trainer, but it looks like I can make it work with less than $200 CAD lol. Pleased as punch :)
@@LoveMTB Garbaruk also make 12 speed HG, but pricier and cogset is one steel part with biggest cog attached with bolts and pins, and there is a sleeve. Lightest cassette on the market i think, their Xd drive is lighter than Sram Eagle.
This is good! Finally I can switch to 12s without changing my freehub. Been using a sunrace 11spd cog with shimano rd/shifter + kmc x11 chain combo for almost 2 years now without any issues (except my knees haha)
@@LoveMTB it's ok if i buy these new sunrace cogs, I'm going to have to replace my 11spd rd anyway, so will be buying the deore 6100 rd in your video which i believe is a standard mount rd?
I found that the SunRace cassette shifts quite smoothly, and is generally very good. Having said that, it is most probably not rated for E-bike use- I, personally, won't use it for that purpose again.
Great video. Is there any solution for the chain drop on both SRAM and shinamo setup? I really want to upgrade my drive train but don’t want to change the hub or buy new rims.
Pretty good video! But honestly I would miss the HG+ if I were to switch. But if the only other option was SX/NX because of hub body, I would deffo go for this one!

I’m running Shimano 12 speed chain no problem in sram GX 11 speed eco system.( Shimano chains were on fire sale) Also Running praxis front chain ring ebike steel No problem on Shimano chain or sram
I have sun race 11-51 on my orbea h30 with shimano slx-m7100 derailleur. this was original setup that came with bike. don't really like it. i also don't know how to properly adjust the space between derailleur and casette with b-screw, because the the 51t mark is somehow on the side vertically and not horizontally like in shimano manual.
Is microspline hub much better than hg? Great video but I am thinking of upgrading wheels to get rid of hg hub to run an slx cassette with my slx derailleur and xt shifters
Dont buy Shimano xt or slx hubs. Bad design leads to creaking. Mine started within a few months. The 410 Deore hub is actually a better design though heavier.
Good video, I'm interested in installing this sprocket, but I'm worried about the chain falling when pedaling backwards, any suggestions to avoid this event. Right now I ride a shimano XT m8000 11-46 version and when I pedal backwards the chain drops. How can I solve this problem ? Thank you for the excellent advice and very good videos, greetings.
I have Deore M6100 with a chinese Sunshine cassette 12sp 11-50t. I have no problem with the upshifting but it's really bad at the downshifting, no matter how I adjust. Is it because it's a chinese brand or the 50t caused the problem? Because from the good brand like Sunrace says that 50t is only for SRAM.
903 Cassette on my bike at the moment. SLX derailleur and KMC chain would drop the chain. XTR chain and derailleur no issues. I do have a manufacturing issue on my cassette though where on of the cogs around the middle will always have a ticking noise that i can’t get rid of. The b tension also had to be lowered below the line on the derailleur in order to get the shifting spot on. Will I buy Sunrace again? I can’t give you an honest answer. Doubt it.
I used a Sunrace chain, no back pedal issues with my csmx903. I wonder if some cassettes by sunrace are more prone to this, or if it's the chain? I also had some ticking issues, solved by careful cable tension tuning. The cogs are very close together on a 12 speed. This may not solve your problem depending on the cause, could be a defective cog? Just a bit of warpage could cause that.
Another note about chain dropping , i have no issues with that, as far as backspinning, its just a matter of fine tuning in my opinion and proper tension adjustments of the clutch derailleur as I have xt and slx derailleurs, of course withbthe slx you have to take the cover off to adjust the clutch
Given me ideas the rear mech on my bike is on it way out. To save buying the new freehub for my pro 4 hub could get this and a xt rear mech n shifter. I’d save some money
I have own orbea occam h30 with Shimano slx-m7100 and sunrace csmz90 11-51t cassette. But according to sunrace this cassette is only with sram derailleur compatible. It’s also very strange that bike manufacturer is giving you Shimano m7100 12x derailleur and shifter but you can’t use Shimano 12x cassette.
@@LoveMTB You are right. Maybe the online shop has wrong bike data. They wrote Sunrise csmz90 12x. But it can't be because it's for sram. On orbea website it's sunrace 11-51t, but they don't mention what type. It' probably csmz600 with all steel sprocket.
I have this setup too with a Deore m6100 RD, shifter, chain, but i use a cheap Zrace 11-52t 12 speed cassette, novatec d042sb hubs and a Prowheel Claw Hollowtech Crank with oval 32t chainring. I don't know what the problem is, but in my first few shifts from smallest cog to next, the chain won't even go up and if it does go up, it gets stuck around the 7th or 8th cog and i have to skip those cog. My quickfix is shift it throughout the entire cassette up and down two to three times and then the shifting becomes smooth again. It's kinda annoying that i have to do the quickfix every bike ride. I'm not sure if it's just incompatibility with the crank/cassette/and rd or if its only out of tune/index. Regarding the falling chain, i can backpedal at the largest cog (52t) three revolutions before the chain falls to the next cog.
@@LoveMTB the derailleur hanger is completely straight and the housing i already put oil in it. :( Is it possible that the deore m6100 rear derailleur, is incompatible with this cassette's (11-52t) teeth profile? Thanks for answering. :)
@@LoveMTB thank you. I will sell the m6100 rd, chain and shifter and buy a saint crank. Is this a good enough setup? Which 12 speed chain can you recommend in this setup and how many links? What chainring size do you use? Maybe consider changing to a smaller ring. You don't want to waste 1/12 of your gears by not using it. With a 32T chainring I use my 10T cog about every 2nd to 3rd ride, when getting to the trails or on the way back home. Although it's useless for anything under 40km/h so it's not essential.
10t cog useful at "gravel" setup for MTB bike with a narrow chainring setup. I can't install more than 36 or 38t at the properly chain line, so 10t cog in the game :)
Wow, didn't know these existed! I've been tempted to go deore 12s but the cost of a new DT freehub is ridiculous so I've been putting it off. Could keep my current HG one and use this cassette then upgrade later....
There are quite a few options and there have been for quite a few years. Sunrace has several 12s cassettes for the old Shimano hub, SRAM has it's NX and SX cassettes. I'm sure there are other manufacturers with such cassettes too.
Sunrace also has their own line of 12 speed derailleur (with clutch) chain, and shifters. I have no idea how their shifter and derailleur work vs Sram and Shimano. Their 12 speed chain is very nice (it looks like a YBN chain, has same metalurgical specs, and quick links) I used that along with their cassette all summer season on my new bike.
I run the Sunrace MZ903 cassette, Shimano SLX derailleur/shifter, and a KMC chain. It works flawlessly! Does not drop a single gear when pedaled backwards.

I think the Sunrace 11-50 cassette reviewed on this channel is meant for sram chains and therefor should work very well with sram derailleurs and shifters too But I recommend looking it up on the suntour website.
Awesome video, cleared a massively grey area up for me. I currently have older hubs which have Shimano HG freehubs and I want to go 1 x 12 with a mixture of Deore XT and SLX. I have new Hunt Wheels on order which will be microspline compatible. Will I still be able to use the sunrace 902 cassette or will I have to upgrade to a shimano cassette?
I had a new Orbea 2020 bike with the Sunrace 51 cog cassette, slx 12 speed chain, with the Old Shimano hub. The shiftning was very lousy and adjusting didnt make it very good. This problem was discussed in a Orbea forum and there was a Lot others who had the same problem. New rearwheel with microspline and a slx cassette Solved the problem.
In my opinion, shimano with shimano and Sram with Sram. Mix of shimano, Sram or other brands can works? Yes. But we have guarantee of a perfect shifting? I’m not sure.
By far the most thorough videos on RUclips! Question: I'm currently running Deore M5100 11-51T 11 speed on HG hub body on 142mm full suspension frame. Running 49.5mm crank chainline. I can't reduce the chainline any further due to frame clearance but 49.5mm seems to be working perfectly with m5100 groupset. I'm building up another 142mm full suspension frame and deciding on wheelset HG vs Microspline hub. If I go with Microspline and M6100 (or similar) 10-51T, does the 12 speed cassette width get wider and pushed into the rear wheel further? Might this require a narrower chainline, such as 47mm to work properly? My chainline adjustment would be limited by frame clearance and tire clearance. I'm curious to try a 12 speed microspline but worried it's not really designed for 142mm dropouts. Maybe the same can be said for the Sunrace 11-51T HG 12 speed. Thanks.

Great video! I was wondering about this cassette. So the 11spd 5100 cassette will keep the chain on when pedaling backwards but the 12spd 6100 derailleur with the sun race cassette on an HG hub body won’t? Just have to decide if it’s worth it for a closer spacing between gears as they are both 11-51
What is the reason that Eagle and Hyperglide+ keep the chain on the cassette on pedaling backwards, and the SunRace does not and fails? Or is it something with the setup of yours?
@@LoveMTB But that was my question. What is the reason that a chain drops, while Shimano and Sram keep theirs on the cogs. I want to convert my bike as well, but am not sure if that is the right choice.

Super useful, I was in that position not too long ago. I ended up changing my rear Hub and buying XT components.

I have an old Sram X9 hub and have just bought this cassette combined with the rest of the Shimano XT groupset to upgrade from a 2x10 GXP to a 1x12.. Have never done quite such a massive rebuild before so thanks for confirming for me that this will work! :D Cheers

Thanks fixed my poor shifting in the middle gear on my sunrace 12 speed cassette
I've been using the 11 spd sunrace for some years now. I might go to 12 at some stage but tbh I'm very happy with the range as it is.
Hi great video. Just bought the 12s 52T with Deore m6100 derailleur. Great that IT works with the old hub! Thanks for the info my friend👍👊
Thank you.
Upgraded my 2x10 Deore XT bike to 12s Deore with the Sunrace cassette. It works perfectly.
Butter! Both shift smooth on the stand.... Great video as usual!
Thank you for explaining the sunrace line up. I just ordered with gx to replace my xt 11 speed I have been carrying over to builds the last few years. The sunrace 11 speed was excellent.
what an excellent review. congratulations!!! the best. greetings from Mexico
Great information man! Nice alternative if upgrading and you get stuck with an older hub that’s worth keeping. Personally, I’m fine with 11spd
@@LoveMTB if that's the case I would be happy paying lucky dip prices not the prices they are.....
Helpful tip on the b screw adjustment, was wondering why shifting was poor on my middle cogs.
Thanks, I finally found a replacement for the SRAM SX Eagle 12s cassette.
I too had phenomenal luck with the sunrace 11 speed , so I had no issues trying the mz903 12 speed with my shimano set up and so far excellent results very happy with it!

Strange, and conversely, I setup my CSMX903 cassette with a Sunrace chain and Sram Eagle derailleur, and experienced no backpedal induced chain drop.
"Boost" chain line is 51-53mm. Make sure front chain ring is equal. That will stop the chain drops. It's not a cog problem.
His front chain line is not matching the rear. Chain drop 101

I think I would take my chances on the Sunrace if price delta was that high. Not a big fan of that 42-52T gap on that SRAM cassette anyway.
Many thanks
Dave
I use this cassette on my bike with SLX 12 speed since last January. It still works great.
I feel like everything would shift well on a stand. The point of HG+ is good shiftimg under load.
Why not test this on a trainer?
I use the SRAM chain on 11dod Shimano and no probs
Hey Alvaro, i have the same setup, new xt derailleur, MZ903, and shimano 12 speed chain. my shifting is very poor, despite i adjusted the b-screw as the video. So you think with the Sram 12 speed chain i can improve it?
is the CSMZ901 is a Hyperglide ready?
and which one you prefer. Sunrace 12 speed which is a hyperglide ready

Yes but replace the chain with a standard 12 peed made by others not Shimano HG+.

Is microspline hub much better than hg? Great video but I am thinking of upgrading wheels to get rid of hg hub to run an slx cassette with my slx derailleur and xt shifters
It’s better in the sense that it can be made out of Aluminum and not get destroyed like the old HG by the loose cogs. Also gives you the 10T cog

Will this work with an SLX 12 speed derailleur and chain, that currently uses a 10-51t cassette?
Yes no ptoblem. Might want to change the chani to non shimano if you don't like the shifting
Just bought a bike with slx + sunrace cassette, and the chain dropping is actually really annoying
Check the chain line, boss.
Just correct the chain line, right.

I wonder if u also mix it with the kmc x12 ti chain. If the shifting perfomance will be same.
I run the Sunrace MZ903 cassette, Shimano SLX derailleur/shifter, and a KMC chain. It works flawlessly! Does not drop a single gear when pedaled backwards.

I sold my m6100 cassette and got myself a sunshine 12S 11-50T cassette. Works fine. Got away with the microspline freehub, which is a pain.
Weight compared to NX 11-50? That one is full steel.
Ok, found it! 520 vs 615g
Thanks for the review on this one. Can you do a review of the full ZTTO 1x12 MTB groupset (available on aliexpress)? Thanks in advance.
@@LoveMTB You have made the correct decision there.
Thanks.
@@LoveMTB Thanks I may give 12 speed microspline a try or just go with another m5100 so I can share parts between bikes if needed.
@@LoveMTB Agreed. I'm running DT Swiss E1700. It's nice to pull the entire cassette and hub from one wheel to another without using any tools. cheers.
I think i gonna try this cassette with Shimano SLX 7100 Shifter and rear derailleur for my wife's MTB with an HG free-hub and SLX 9-speed Cassette at the moment.
@@LoveMTB Thanks for the tip.
on my mondraker dune r 2020 i have the combo slx shifter, xt derailleur, sunrace 11-51 casette and kmc x12 chain, but i have many issues... on your video works perfectly ¿you have a tutorial how to set or adjust?
Hi I am using a slx xt 12 speed mix on my giant xtc slr but it uses a kmc x12 chain would you suggest getting a Shimano hyper plus do you think I would see any difference many thanks
I got one these but it won't be silent on the cogs around the transition from steel to aluminum cogs. I'm guessing I got a defective unit :(
So we both got unlucky lol
@@leonardosposito7955 got mine from Aliexpress, what about yours?
so i might want this cassette that come on a set of carbone wheels i looking for i will need to change derail and shifter i also want a raceface crank so i m not sur if i should go for sram gx eagle or shimano xt derail shifter and chaine. can you tell me what you would recommande to me
Great video! I was wondering about this cassette. So the 11spd 5100 cassette will keep the chain on when pedaling backwards but the 12spd 6100 derailleur with the sun race cassette on an HG hub body won’t? Just have to decide if it’s worth it for a closer spacing between gears as they are both 11-51
@@LoveMTB Great look forward to it, love the channel!
I'm thinking of getting this (9 speed 46 tooth version) and just using the top part of the cassette, since my current shimano cassette only goes up to 36 teeth, would that work?
