- Today we have a closer look at the new Citizen Series 8 GMT range, comparing them with the time only model, the 870.
Upon double checking the prices of all the models, it has come to my attention the GMT is in fact cheaper than the 870, and that my questions around the down-tuned accuracy still remain. I also wasn’t overly clear in the video that the yellow gold model is yellow gold plate and not solid.

I just got my batman series 8 gmt. I really love everything about it, it's my favorite watch. Now I am really considering getting myself the gold root beer gmt, it looks so great.

With the wider availability of the Miyota 9075, the prices of traveler or flyer GMT watches have gone down significantly. You can get a reliable microbrand GMT for $600.
just picked this one up for 964, for this price its a great value honestly, it also has a slightly better movement

Am I the only person that enjoys setting my watch on the plane when flying somewhere? I mean we all have a phone to set it to (to the second). I enjoy "using" my watch. so Flyer or Caller makes no difference to me. Be good for pilots I'll grant you.
