Binah moment
As someone that had a pet hedgehog, they’re always pretty wiggly. They may not have Sonic’s speed but they’re faster than you think and absolutely love running. Mine spent all night running in his wheel and loved scurrying all over the place when I had him out of the cage. The hedgehog in Andy the Talking hedgehog actually seems really well behaved, most hedgehogs will curl up when they’re spooked so him being wiggly means he’s a brave lil guy.
Yeah, I had a pet hedgehog as well, and she was pretty wiggly too. Very adventurous little things!

Its pretty impresive considering animation software like flash was not as user friendly back in the day as what we have now.
New rule: If you are being attacked and need to signal for help, don’t yell “Fire!” or any other alarm that would hopefully make witnesses call police.
Just imagine you’re watching Bobby the Hedgehog. The noises you produce will be more effective in having police summoned, than any cry for help.

The main character's name is "Petur" rather than "Peter" because he's Faroese. The fact that Tanic was made by a Faroese teenager has increased my interest in it exponentially.

Ludwig the Hedgehog was made in Armenia, and one of the characters translates folktales, right? A little googling gave me an essay by someone named Alvard Jivanyan stating that wearing animal skin is a common folktale trope in Armenia with heavy symbolism, and a hedgehog's skin is specifically used in one called Dame Mother of Pearl. I think there may just be some regional tropes that make more sense if you come from the movie's country of origin, it just had the misfortune of falling into the "knockoff the hedgehog" naming convention, lmao.

Honestly, those Tanic videos are oddly endearing. Like, this is *exactly* what I expect a middleschooler to make in the early to mid-2000's to do, and it's completely tame and innocent compared other Sonic fandom horseshit I've seen.

It's kind of impressive that Bobby the Hedgehog managed to rip off almost the entire Kung Fu Panda trilogy in the span of one movie. The badger villan character is a Tail Lung rip-off, the human villain is a Lord Shen rip-off (due to his plan of genociding an entire species of animals, and the usage of red), and then Bobby trains the other Hedgehogs like the panda village in Kung Fu Panda 3.
The coolest thing about Tanic to me was always that it it takes place in the Faroe Islands (a Danish-ish subarctic archipelago between Scotland and Iceland). I’ve always been interested in geography and countries and stuff so it always interest me to see semi-obscure (by our shitty American standards at least) places like that getting representation, and the thought of the possibility of someone becoming more world conscious because of a Sonic fan animation from 2008 is bizarrely wholesome to me. i’m half asleep so this probably makes no sense
Plus, it's the home of the metal band TYR.
It also the country-ish place with the most noble prize winners per capita, the number being 1 in this case.

Yes, by all means, RUclips careers that have ended with the deletion of channels, that'd be very interesting. And one of the people you talk about should be Noah Antwiler. His RUclips channel still exists, so he may not be a great subject for this, but he was one of the people who really bungled his transition from Blip and lost most of his back catalog of videos, then proceeded to get discouraged by personal setbacks and more-or-less gave up. It's your show idea, you don't have to a video about him, but that would be someone I'd love to hear you talk about. He was the first "influencer" that I became a huge fan of.
EDIT: I was thinking about this more and I think one of the main reasons I think about this guy as having lost his channel is because he lost his website. Back when Blip was a thing, people usually didn't go to Blip to watch videos: they went to the creator's individual websites. They put a lot of effort into these, maintaining an archive of their old videos and often posting blog-style updates and even including their own forum. Back then, if you wanted to know if any of your favorite creators had posted something new that day, you'd go down the list visiting each of their sites. Even if they were a Channel Awesome member, often the creator's website would update with the new video before it went to Channel Awesome, if at all. So for me, with the death of Noah's website, so signaled the true death of his channel and career as an influencer, and the RUclips channel that bears his name is nothing more than an archive of the few videos he transferred over to RUclips, or that were already there from the pre-Blip days. That and the occasional gaming stream he still does every once in a while, though he hasn't done one in some time now.

That one polish cartoon you show in the intro is actually not a sonic knockoff as far as i know. Its based on a popular cartoon character with semi adult themes that was already around in the 90s (Jeż Jerzy). Maybe the character design was somehow influenced by the games back then but i think the similarities are more coincidental in this case.

Quinton, I'm not even interested in half the stuff you dedicate videos to. Your nostalgia hits a generation after mine. I despised shows like iCarly, but I was never the target demographic. That said, your explanations as to why, what, and how these shows captured your interest, as well as videos such as your Rank and Bass and this offer an interesting insight and are ceaselessly entertaining. I'm glad I subscribed and I look forward to your iCarly episode to find out what all the fuss is about. okay so this video unlocked a super deep memory in me
my brother and i were obsessed with sonic the hedgehog from when we were lil babies up until our teens. we would watch sonic x, play the video games together, etc. he was a bigger fan, though, and wanted anything with sonic’s face on it. he would look up sonic fan art and we would draw our own hedgehogs. he came up with the hedgehog “Hiro the Hedgehog” and eventually in the early 2010’s he learned about flash animation… and sonic sprites. he would spend hours making videos about his adventures and they were genuinely funny. i think you would enjoy watching these old videos since they are so nostalgic to the innocence of the time. i miss those days. i just looked up the account and the videos are still there. it made me so happy.

but what i really cant seem to forget is 'School of Little Vampires'.
I mean, that and 'Zentrix' was HIGH-QUALITY-AF!
My expertise tells me that even school of vampires has
at least 2 more seasons OR 2 more movies left to do and
could; IN FACT; make money. Big companys just dont know this fact.
But Zentrix is yet another thing. I dont know if you know that show,
but if you did: Nostalgia is literally not a word for it.
People have a really special place in their heart for it, IF they knew it back then.
And i mean special in the literal sense; i mean to elavate this even above
other nostalgic shows and such.
That show has what others dont have: A list online with all the Mistakes listed,
so one could improve massively on the existing stuff.

i miss 06 - 08 youtube. that's when i was most active on this site. everything was a little trash but it was enjoyable. just little skits and clips. i hear a lot of youtubers these days refer to it as the dark ages of youtube (cough cough TRO and jaubrey) but god damn there was so much more soul.

I bet you could reach out to a lot of people who have deleted their channels and since stopped caring about the reason they deleted them. At least some of them should have some of their old videos in some format. Instead of making it one video, you could just make a separate video each time you manage to find someone willing to share their old stuff.
