GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!
That looked really good over the black, i liked how it shifted to the green.
Dang that whole panel turned out great! 5 across the board. Another great video brother
Painted my whole car in that very paint. It was a bit of trial and error but it was eventually successful and a big hit. The car is definitely known around town as "that car that changes colors". Lol. The colors really stick out in bright sunlight and at night under the city lights.
I love the colour shift on the blue!!👌
5. 5. 5.
I was surprised how good it worked over white.
5 on the white!!
I like the blue 5 I also would like to see a wet sand and buff to see how smooth that Rust-Oleum turns out
Thanks for showing this over blue and white, everyone just does black
Bro stunning video. Thats a banger right there! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Definitely loved it over the black or blue. I think if I use a deep deep purple that's alost black first it will come out best of both.
5 out of 5 across the board. Needs to be in the quart size for the spray gun. I like it all. Great job. Nice video
Honestly, id go with that blue in the middle. I owned a blazee that got shot with a simular blue paint when i repainted it back in the day
Super helpful!!!! Great video!! Thank you!!
I used their rainbow shift on my engine bay last month and it can out awesome
Its a 5 in the colour shift department no denying that it shifts colour. It's a 5 in gloss aswell not sure how long it would stay that way though. 2k clear would be smart to level it off and lock in some shine.
Every can of that ive bought spits. Put it in warm water before u spray. That helps a lot
Very good results, would like to see the champagne color shift over reds..thanks Johnathan
ruclips.net/video/CdfNAFzTmbU/видео.html I don't know if you saw this episode but it was champagne color shift over red and it was one of the most popular episodes thanks for watching
I painted a car with this spray paint. My issue was the small fan pattern and it caused streaking. I found decanting it into a mason jar and using a turbine spray gun worked pretty good. Stuff is just too expensive in long run for a full vehicle
Yes if you have an spray gun setup there are various pearls out there you can get to do the same thing didspade makes a bunch of popular ones if you want to check them out thanks for watching
If I do this over a deep navy almost blackish blue color I'll get the best of both colors.
Great video!
You two get a 5 out of 5 Brother!
I enjoy the work that you two do!!
Looks good. Black 4,blue 3.8,white 3.5. 👍👍👍👍
Very cool project, let’s see the results to help us make an informed decision
Nice surprise I would say there is a application for it. 5er
Looks great over the black and the blue, made tge white pearlescent but not flip flop. I’d say worth it
I like the blue to purple shift 5. 3.5 on white and black.
This I gues is the 1st color shift I like, that blue made a reral nice color. Give it a 4.
Hey hey Jonathon, I’m convinced with this video. I’m going to paint my F-250 reg cab 8’ bed, how many cans would you recommend for me to buy. I’m sure I would need two or three coats. Nice to have the wife’s support.
In all honestly prob 10 cans at least that's a good start for a pretty good size truck I appreciate you watching!
I give it a 5. Nice color shift
I like it, but I believe that if it’s that pricey I’d only use it for small jobs. I think that for a whole car I’d mix the color shift I want into a 2k clear
3.5…
I would give it a 4 across the board simply because I think it just adds another step over the 2k when you could get the same effect from adding the color shift pearl and have the added benefit of the clear coat durability
Thank you, I've been wanting to use this to repaint my crutches but it isn't available in Canada & I've been trying to decide if it is worth picking some up when in the USA.
It's a very cool user friendly color shift well worth the money if you just want to use a spray can thank you for watching
Remember when it was first released at lowes $20 can then was discontinued for awhile then came back price dropped to $12 , 2 different ones blue to green and green to purple , pearl in a can
Looks amazing! Do you think spraying 2k clear would ruin the surface of the Color shifting clear/paint?
No I think it would be fine I do it all the time with Rust-Oleum thanks for watching
My mud truck is apple red top and bottom and black center I want to do blue cosmos over both
5 five!!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Masks are cool ❤
It looks really good it works for real
Not bad. Black 4 Blue 3 White 2.5 but that could be because the camera couldn't pick it up.
I've used this product on my whole vehicle I've got to pick up few more cans I'm using it on a 2011 Nissan Sentra sr
My Sentra was originally all white when I bought her now she is little rough but I've got to wet sand her after I apply a few more cans of color shift paint to her then I've got to apply clear coat approximately three to four cans but she isn't like you have ever seen plus I have led underglow in the grill under the dash passenger side and in front of the back seat I'll post a video on your Facebook page
Looks good just like you guys said 4
5 would it work out on orange peel ?
Where your Rust-Oleum sponsorship😊 5
Got a question can you shoot silver metal flake mixed in clear coat over tractor supply gloss black? Thanks for the help . Lewis
Yes you can I would advise against using the tractor supply magic clear it doesn't have UV protection though I would recommend a 2K urethane clear coat over any oil based paint
Nice work 👍
Do you do paint work for customers? Was wondering how much you would charge to prep and paint a sedan? Thanks
I do when I can but I work full-time at a paint store so I take projects on the side but I'm a little backed up right now it really just depends on the car but I will let you know if anything changes in the immediate future thanks for watching
This is my next step in my project, BUT what's after this? Can I sand that before 2k or do I just layer on the 2k and then sand / buff the 2k? Thanks!
I would not sand the Rust-Oleum color shift that could cause so many issues.....I would clear coat then sand and buff the clear coat 👍
got my subscribe because you added your wife anytime you can do something with her come together on a project is nice me and my wife does the same find things we both can do together as a team
Exactly that's what it's all about having fun together thanks for watching and subscribing
😎👍
I want to see it over apple red
Actually oved apple red and black I have an 89 GMC that I've rattle canned apple red and black with intentions of going over it with blue cosmos
on grey how would it look 🤔🤔🤔
You would pretty much get the same results you get over white maybe a little bit more noticeable color shift but obviously over darker colors it works the best thanks for watching
I definitely give it a 5 all the way!! What I will be painting is chrome, which I was getting ready to do a Hydro-Dip, and happened to see this Color Shift Paint for the first time. The other items are different kinds of wood, however, I'm very curious as to what the color shifted to with the White Base, 'cause the inside of the chrome item is probably gonna be white w/color shift, although I need to decide which color to use on the inside, since it'll be most likely 1, maybe 2 light coats...?? Thank you in advance for your feedback!! Well done on the videos, especially on keeping them shorter and straight to the point! Cheers! 🤙💙💜🚙🚕
How thick is the paint on that fender lol
It's been stripped back to metal again recently so prob about 6 spray outs around 12 to 15 coats on it maybe 🤣 thanks for watching
I love painting without lung protection, make the wife do it.
Not exactly but thanks for watching lol
I give it a 3 your wife paint better than u 😂 lol
So this might sound dumb but I’m about to camo paint a gun and I wonder what type affect this would have on that any opinions
Also the base color will be like a sand or flat dark earth. Then light green and dark green with a little brown and black accents
And all the colors will be flat
This stuff sprays out very much like an interference pearl so over the lighter colors you would get kind of a ghost effect and the darker color you would see it more so it would be a pretty cool effect I think
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS cool thanks I might try it
