Polar felt like a very creative cross between John Wick and The Man From Nowhere. (If you haven't watched The Man From Nowhere, be sure to use English subtitles instead of English dubbing; trust me - the subtitles are the way to go. There's a reason The Man From Nowhere has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.) But don't mistake that as a criticism. Polar is not a copycat of either film by any stretch. It has its own style. Very good movie.

But with films like Ip Man, Curse of the Golden Flower, House of the Flying Daggers (one of my favorite films of all time), all that changed. The subtitles are easy to read, accurate, and make for a very enjoyable watching experience. To each their own... But I think most people would agree with me if they tried it.

You need to see Jaghten (The hunt) Its with him to only he works on a child school and people starting to think he molested kids but he didn't. Its also a very very good movie.

I know this is a popcorn flick and I really enjoyed this movie the first time, but after watching it over a few times I noticed some things: there's too much shaky cam at some parts and at 3:57, how'd he get ALL THE WAY over to the opposite shore that quick and without being seen by the sniper and the two people at both of the doors...fully naked...in the snow. I'm probably thinking too much, but that still bugs me
