The Alvin-Messier voiceover was absolutely amazing.
Alvin and the Chip-narcs aside, it’s an interesting design. Hub props are an uncommon but not imaginary feature, and the centerline arrangement really works.

Personally, I really like prop-punk but if you’re looking for a name for the world itself within the prop-punk genre you’ve created, then I can get behind that.

I’d recommend checking out my favourite aircraft concept called the VVA-14, originally designed to be a submarine hunter utilizing a theoretical approach known as the ground effect. This could fit incredibly well into your world because it could be an aircraft made by the guard to hunt narco-subs.

I love the imagination in your videos. If you were just using flyout to make an Su-57 I'd probably be nodding off to sleep. I want to know more about your world where smugglers are slinging missiles at the coast guard and the consequences of such actions.

This is such a cool concept. Thought that when procedural missiles come to the game you could try make an IR seeking harpoon missile. My thoughts for this are that with a rack of four to six smaller size heat seeking missiles all attached to individual cable spools a hit would be more of a guarantee and it would be easier to fit either tow cables or deploy on impact parachutes into a missile sized delivery device. My thoughts for the tactics of a plane like this are that four or more of the interceptors would fly in formation and attach tow cables to various points across the plane and then use their mounted cannon or mgs (or even rounds made of steel cable nets that expand in flight to disarm props) to shred the targets engines so that it cant overpower or damage the craft via maneuvers.
As a senior in undergrad, you'll do fine-> Make sure you sleep. And Drink lots of water. It will help, I promise. Also, taking a few hours per week to use your university's gym. Sitting and studying all the time will take a toll on your mental health, and physical activity will help a lot

Would love to see you make some kind of tactical bomber/long-range bomber (dunno what this class is actually called) resembling a b-29 but modern, so like a C130 with guns, bomb-bay, and it would be cool to have the cockpit like the he-111 has.

The problem is that at supersonic speeds when a bomb is released it's body can generate enough lift to go up and hit the plane. iirc USAF dod some tests and it ripped some parts off a Phantom.
Tho one could mount the bombs ABOVE the wings, but... you'll need to either push negative Gs to not hit the ground, or hit the dive breaks to get slower than the bomb and then pull up.
Also the bombs wouldn't be accurate unless the are somehow guided since they will be flailing around on the way down.

@@the_drunk_balalaika60 I have maybe a few ideas the bomb could be shaped like a football and have a special container that either launches the bomb and falls off the plane or just launches it out and then the bomb could spin making it more accurate or going into something more less realistic it could shoot a rope with the bomb and a parachute attached so the bomb just slides down the rope but that would make the dive bombing obsolete that idea could be a plane within itself and going back to what I said earlier the idea of having a bomb inside a container that would go fast would be cool because it would be three sperate explosions the planes going super sonic first (it would probably be high altitude moving slow and only go super sonic when diving) the bomb getting launched and because of the shape and speed it's being launched from the bomb would also go super sonic creating another explosion then the bomb actually hitting the ground and the plane would probably have to pull a special maneuver similar to maybe a cobra to make the bomb come out and to be fair i don't fully understand its just a idea butt feel free to point out errors because iv been thinking of something like this for a little and would like help making it as realistic as possible
And another thing about accuracy (I don't mean to be rude) but with how fast the bomb would be going it's would probably create such a huge creator from the speed itself it probably wouldn't have to be super accurate maybe used for bunker busting or destroying roads bridges convoys something similar but please point out anything wrong I would love to work it out with someone who understands more than me

A ww2 era high altitude prop plane would be cool. Like the fw190 Dora. Long wings, long skinny fuselage with a screaming v12 or something along those line. A version for your discord server would be cool to with a turbo prop. I just love high lift wings on fighter aircraft lol

This plane should be named some sort of reef shark I think (Grey, Whitetip, Silvertip, and Blacktip. And change the paint a smidge to match.) as reef sharks hunt in packs.
It makes me think of the Martin 262 Convoy fighter, except able to land with landing gear instead of on its tail needing a trolley to move around the deck. Its cool XD

Grappler craft reminds me of Outlaw Star, a decent anime from the 90s.
The leading edge of the wing would probably be made out of tungsten and or some incrediblely hard steel maybe DU? (depleted uranium) if i remember correctly there was a varient of the BF 109 that had reinforced wings mean to slice through other wings dont quote me on that as i could be wrong
Its less about the leading edge and more about force transfer through the fuselage. You'd need a full steel chassis, and possibly make the aircraft too heavy to fly.

I’m thinking about joining as an engine design company creating the highest performance “period correct” piston engines. Basically all the jet tech, but without putting it in a enclosure. How could you mash a 3 shaft Rolls Royce and a piston engine together?

the cock pit should be on the back of the plane to protect the cockpit in case of the target plane decides to ram back or be difficult, and the props should be in a duct in case of the same thing but to damage the props, also, good luck with college, i know that school kinda sucks in america, if that is where you live.

I assume that the tactical design feature that Flyout can’t support for the coast / air national guard is… a grappling hook. 😎 or a harpoon or a way to puncture the fuselage and drive the pirate airframe to your airfield for arrest.
