@@ericgoodman9797 I agree that there are many sung, and sadly, unsung greats and heroes all over the music scene; and due to differences of genre, style and preferences, nobody can truly be called “the greatest” or best (but Sierra comes damn close). I do think Sierra has a bigger range, and a richer sound and lyrics than Nikki Lane. Not that she’s not talented, she is.
She’s most definitely not the only “real one”, she’d disagree as well. Look at how much incredible talent and skill there is in the music scene at any given time; from the streets of places like Austin, Seattle, New York, Nashville and New Orleans, to the stages in dive bars and big venues all over this country (hell, the world). And thank God, Maud or Dog for that! So much talent out there that we often never hear.
Like many "overnight sensations", she's been working very hard paying her dues for years. Her success is well deserved and I wish her decades more of it to come.

You should get excited ….among concert fans there are some people who go to music concerts to hear the performers sing their songs …others like to sing out loud with the performers …I’m a taper and I’m sure most of the people there to see shows don’t want to hear someone else singing ! By all means give some hoots and cheers ! Just don’t f ing sing please !
@@MusicVault I don't mind the singing as long as they're not singing over the performer. It's the talking. Don't you taper people carry flashlights to shine on noisy folks anymore? Seems like if you're not gonna dance you could shame beam the loudies (just teasing ya!)

The Sierra Ferrell effect on full display. Great staging and arranging - however, regrettable that the house sound/mixing is sub-par. Sierra's mic not picking up adequately (is it even "ON") for the early numbers...I mean, really!!

Excellent performance but youtube's ads cutting into songs every three minutes made it really tedious to watch
You were so close at times sounded like you captured her singing directly rather than through the PA speakers.
Look up her "Lullaby Of Birdland".
They are all fantastic but the sound quality of this video sucks to me. I didn’t listen to the whole video but either the sound mixing was lousy or the phone camera wasn’t picking the audio up very well.
@@rickbullock4331 the sounded mix sucked ! We told the band in between the opener Sierra hull and Ferrell but no one listened ! I’m a pro and the sound is usually a lot better

Great job dude. It sounds just like if we were there. Love it. Kudos to you. From experience speaking...not easy holding up a phone or camera for an entire show. Wish people would not bitch and complain...but give credit where due.

Whatever happens to make people break through it’s happening here. It’s almost like a spell. I can’t stop listening to her. Strange. Very strange. I DO NOT like this genre… at all. But I love this.
Love her but the mix sux, bass way too loud swallowing her vocal. Its also eating up the mandolin. Too much reverb. You call this a performers venue? What a mushy mess. Her talent deserves so much more. But bass players prolly love it. Wasted.
I had higher expectations of the sound and video engineers of the Fonda Theater. Sierra Ferrel sounds better than this. The audio quality in this clip is horrendous. Wish more forethought had been put into setting up the camera position. She was blocked by the low angle and the mic decoration. A simple 45° camera offset would have been much better. Obviously not a professional setup since you heard talking and singing from the crew throughout the entire concert. They get paid to be quite. *ugh
