I started playing in the pre-season and I couldnt buy any of the old skins because I was literally 13 when they came out and I didnt have money to spend on a f2p game, and now as a grown adult I am happy that I have the ability to spend my hard earned money very irresponsibly and buy them. (and the copium for old battle passes is back in full force until February when I get to see if I can finish my collection once and for all)

These were never exclusive. The BP skins still are, as the faq said “The exclusive cosmetic items you earn from a battlepass are yours to keep forever and will not be obtainable again”, however in the case of the season shop Epic actually said on the FAQ “Note: These rewards will no longer be available at the end of the Season, but may return at a later date! Get 'em while you can.” I’m totally with you on BP skins though.

I had a shot to get them back in season 1 and was around level 60, i loved that season but the cosmetics at the time was very underwhelming for me since i like the more edgy skins. I would be more happy as a whole if the playable og had sheilds as grey loot and could carry 5 like og. But thats off topic

I have the original aerial assault trooper and I say you should get it if you want it. The real OGs are getting exclusive styles for all this stuff so it really doesn’t matter. Only thing is that everyone and there grandma is going to have it so it’s not special anymore.
Nothing special about those skins. OG owners still get a OG edit style. So people who buy the skin now are literally just buying a wannabe version of what the og have 😅
