I directed the Fort Fisher Hermit documentary and I am currently in production of a new documentary that will shed light on the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death. Stand by, we have a box of dynamite!

Something striking is that this place is isolated but yet its not been vandalized. Thank you for sharing our hermit's story!

Daze, the citizens of Metropolis Illinois (yes we know you have been here before) but would like you to come back to do a story on the unsolved murder of Lisa Carnes here in Metropolis back in 1984. I know her daughter and her husband personally. We all would love nothing more than another light being shined on this case in a big way. Give it some research and see if it's something you want to consider. I promise you that you will be met with open arms and a huge hit for your channel. I'll be there with you through every step of the way if that's what you desire. Come back to Metropolis again. You're desired in a huge way.

My granddaddy knew the hermit. He would go talk to him regularly. He wrote a lot about him in the local paper called the Star News. He regularly wrote local editorials and had talked to him many times to share the stories.
I’m so glad my granddaddy took me to all those wonderful places in Wilmington history. So many places have been destroyed by so called progress. When my granddaddy died in 2011 I knew a part of Wilmington history died with him. He was the one that had the sign added on the Wilmington signs that said “Home of the Azalea Festival”. I hope you were able to visit Merritt’s Burger House. One of my favorite places in town.

What a lovely story of a lovely man. Considering you mentioned a lot that he loved common sense, it made me think how disappointed he would be with this woke world today.
Oh no the way he died was so horrific, and no justice makes me angry. Thank you Jordan, this was a nice tribute to Robert. ❤Jodie 🇦🇺

That poor man didn’t get justice because in the eyes of that sheriff he was just a hermit. Human life is so cheap when a person is not wealthy.
