I have both, the PMR, and the CMR. I bought the PMR first, then the next day saw the CMR, and had to have it. I Like both of them very much. I have the loader, it really helps.

i am fine with reloading. dont find it hard at all.. the only problem is when the mag is almost full, you start to get dents in the previous round that was loaded. does the loader prevent this?

@@butchie2752 i bought the American made with the flag on it. I've had the cmr for a few yrs and it loads both magazines with no issues. I recently bought a pmr from a friend. It's been riding in a center console in the south Texas heat since 2016. Both magazines give me some trouble with the speed loader. Couple times while loading the 30 rds they want to bind. Pull one or two back out and start over and it continues to load. No dented brass and it runs flawless, so no big deal for me.

I'm really happy with my CMR, it's light weight, small, has a 16 inch barrel for long shots when you need it. And the ammo is light weight Four clips (120 rds) with the gun is around 5 pounds and the 22 mag is plenty powerful enough to most jobs. Perfect for bug out, truck gun or briefcase.

The check pistol concept for qccb Demonstrated-concepts has showed the liability of shooting a gun from the cheek with out a stock or brace. It can be fast and extremely accurate style of shooting with a lot of practice.
    Thanks for the great video.

    • @ArchetypeofMan
      @ArchetypeofMan  2 года назад +2

Absolutely!! I was skeptical when I first saw Rhett's concept. Then I tried it and it changed my world. As much as we all clamor for innovation in the firearms world in terms of equipment, it's amazing to see innovation in terms of application. Rhett might be the best thing to happen to shooting since Jeff Cooper, IMO. His ideas and "Demonstrated Concepts" (No pun intended lol) revitalize a segment of the firearms manufactured to make them serviceable in a variety of roles.

    I own both the PMR-30 &
the CMR-30, they are great budget firearms.
I've fired about 400 rounds out of each of them.
And I've never had a misfire or failure to feed or eject.
But you have to run 40 grain or higher ammo, which is what Kel-Tec recommends. Any ammo that is less than 40 grain does not have enough power to Cycle the ammo.
I experimented with a box of 36 grain and a box of 38 grain, and every 2 or 3 rounds i would end up having failure to feed or failure to eject issues.
As long as you stick with running 40 grain or higher, as the Manufacturer specs recommends, you shouldn't have any issues.
Also Kel-Tec Company has excellent customer service tech support. And they are expedient on answer any questions, helping wirh troubleshooting any issues, or replacing any defective parts or gun free of charge.

You DO have to be careful with how you load them, but it should run pretty well. Mind the rims on the cartridges as you load them and make sure that each subsequent rim is in front the rim of the round below it

Mine runs flawless with cci and speed loader. Suppressor will dirty it up quicker, but that's with any gun. Been thinking about the pmr ever since i bought the cmr (2 yrs). Buddy had one and asked if i wanted it. Ran 10 rounds through it without a hitch. Handed him $400. Have 3x9x40, lasor, light, foregrip, and sling on my cmr. Ordered lasor for pmr, still waiting on its arrival. It's one that turns on as soon as you grab the pistol to fire. Or you can disable it. Eyes aren't getting any younger. And lasor sure makes for quick accurate shot placement. I've killed several hogs, jackrabbits, Armadillos, coons, opossum, cat, and one truck mirror. with my cmr. Not much for blowing up ammo on paper. Once it's dialed in its paper days are done. Never had much use for a pistol. Obama sold me a 9mm back in the day. Has worked well for clean up on wounded hogs at night. Thinking this lite pmr might take its place.

I’ve had 4 keltecs shake themselves apart. The p50, the charging handle with that flimsy ribbon they used from party city to hold the charging handle in was disgustingly horrible.
So if you like 70% taxes and being given pieces of trash that the Chinese could make better… buy keltec. OR be a wonderful person (if you have the financial means) and get every leltec you can find used (don’t give revenue to keltec) and have them destroyed. Scrap is where keltecs belong.
