Ok, Holy crap! Why did I just enjoy that almost as much as watching a Fever game? CC had her usual gr8 interview, but I have to say Katie, Kristy and Kelsey was fantastic! Especially Kelsey, as she was so supportive, and her interview skills are getting better all the time. Way to go girl! See y'all tomorrow!
She didn't have a lot of oppurtunity to polish her interview skills before becaue the media and people ignored the wnba. Now that the spotlight is on the wnba due to the caitlin effect, they now have a lot of media wanting to talk to them.
You can tell Kelsey has finally bought in to what CC can do. Not on the hero ball stuff anymore. This is finally a TEAM! Love to see it.

I can only imagine how difficult it was for K. Mitchell to let go of that hero ball mentality after working so hard for the past 2 yrs. But I have been saying this for the first 10 games. I sensed resentment during post interviews. But the hero ball ended after C. Sides benched her for doing that. Now, I see a brighter attitude during these interviews. C² is not trying to take anything from her. She just trying to get the W.
Yes! She’s slowly getting there, for sure. And the more she buys in, the tighter they get as a team and the better their chemistry gets.
I love Mitchell’s response about CC’s 3 doubles, she’s not star struck. This a team win or loss. Mitchell is a clutch player, love her too❤❤❤…I love CC too😊

Kelsey Mitchell with a great head on her shoulders. She’s a baller, playing great team ball , and is always ready to hit those big shots that matter. So impressive how clutch she can be.

@@IThinkICare She reminds me, in terms of mindset only, of watching my kids BB teams playing...mostly iso-time when they find themselves with the ball in their hands, & they'll do their best to get some sort of shot up. Really the opposite of how CC approaches the game fundamentally. But ya, teams do need that iso option, & she is not skered, she'll shoot it with confidence in big moments, which is important....I'd argue only take those shots if you've just been set up by CC, as it's very likely to be the correct BB play.
@@scottsherman5262 Yes, but she succeeds in taking to the basket , maybe a foul but sometimes she takes it into a crowd. 3-4 which will not succeed and also means someone is free. Quick mind/action change is not easy I'm sure.
Shout out to the press guy who talked to Mitchell about her clutch shooting, and didn’t just ask her about Caitlin. Seriously. Press should be asking her about her clutch 3’s, her steal, and her awesome dime she had in that game. Mitchell was on fire and deserves some love.

Agree with your comment. This team is best when the balance of stardom is all around. Boston, Mitchell, Smith, Samuelson, all great players. I think CC at point is getting better and better at bringing out the best in each. If they can mature together and trust each other they could be a top tier team in the league before too long. CC is the reason I'm here-it's been a joy to discover the complete team (including other clutch players not yet mentioned).

Kelsey Mitchell and CC are my two favorites to watch on this team. I can't believe how fast Kelsey is too. This whole team is fun to watch when they are playing fast!!
The chemistry between these players is really showing in these interviews. So great to see this - basketball is a team sport and it takes a close knit team playing their roles to perfection to get special wins. Really liked this broader view of the team during these interviews.

Great questions today! I LOVED how relaxed and open Kelsey Mitchell was! I feel like I got to know her a bit today. It was also fun to see CC and Samuelson playing around. Loving the energy! Go Fever! CC is why I showed up but I’m starting to really be a fan of AB, Mitchell, Samuelson, Hull and Fagbenle!

Clark is the Fever’s QB. She sees the floor, and like Kelsey said, she is going to be ready. C^2 reminds me of Tom Brady. If you played with him you always had to be ready because if you were open the ball was coming. A lot of players got some big paydays because of him. Unfortunately they did not fare as well after they left.
Her playmaking and up tempo style reminds me of Magic Johnson more than anyone.

GM ultimately makes those decisions, not the HC. Also, Wallace has a guaranteed contact and Taylor did not. That's the economic reality that handcuffs a lot of front offices when it comes to retaining the young talent.
