Ive seen two other players in these past 30-ish years who have had simillar attitude - humble, selfless, no ego, high awareness and baskedball iq, great fundamentals and doing whatever the team neads - Tim Duncan and Nikola Jokic. I see that same spirit in Clark and i also see that she is getting the Jokic treatment with the media - but their darkness, and misery cant outshine the light she brings on the court. God bless Caitlin Clark. Truly a player with class

Clark is going to force this entire league to stop being so lackadaisical as they trot back on defense. I know that even in the NBA you score some with hit ahead passing, but the way Clark just produces close to like 20 ppg with this type of vision and awareness, it really highlights a huge area that the W and women’s college ball are in need of a lot of attention to detail and focus work.
I’m not trying to take away from Clark at all! Rather, she is SO good and smart with her hit ahead passing that I think it’s going to force the league to really evolve it’s defensive schemes, intensity, and focus. And that is quite the compliment. She’s just truly generational.

Remember, Caitlen may not be playing at her fullest potential. She sustained a ruptured ear drum during the Fever's games against the New Liberty in June 2nd causing vertigo and dizziness taking weeks to a few months to completely heal. And she's been full bore since last fall with a full college schedule, then the draft, endorsements, and what..12? practices with the Fever. She's 22...and handles it all so damn well you'd think she was a 10 year vet. No complaints, even though she has to be mentally and somewhat physically fatigued. She would NEVER use those as an excuse, but trust me when I say this is the absolute WORST you will see CC play in the WNBA, and she's still shattering records.

OK CC is a monster, but you guys forgot what y'all was screaming when she got into the league, she was going to blow up the 3-point shooting in the WNBA. That didn't happen the way you thought. She had one triple double granted being the only rookie to achieve this and she leads the in assist, but that's totally different than what she supposed to appear as the 3-point shooting giant. Don't forget she also leads the league in turnovers. Now Angel was the double- double Queen in College and now as a rookie she is the double-double leader in the WNBA, so she brought the same game from college to the PRO's and is still dominating the league in double-double not to mention she in the top 5 in rebounding as a Rookie. if Fever can train around Caitlin's playmaking ability; Fever could very well become the #1 WNBA team!
they seem to have a few other good or decent players; the rest should be screens to inable playmaking and defenders.
but I think Sides should go; I don't think Caitin's playstyle is fully compatibile with Sides couching ability.
Sides would likely do better with a different team; she's not horrible, but she's seems a little out of her depth (for lack of better word) with Caitlin. its sort of like a good teacher who knows they have a student who is a genius; the teacher would either learn to work with the student, or would have to bow out for someone else to guide the student.
I think this is whats happened with Sides; Clark is a "genius", and Sides is unable to "teach" her.
It would be REALLY interesting to see Clarke, Boston and a few of the others, team up with the Liberty veteran players... that would be an unstoppable team!

Yep. Sides can't seem to bring herself to barely compliment CC, despite the fact without CC they would have won half the damn games they have so far. Sides thinks she's some amazing coach (she's a defensive coach with the worst defense in the league...) when in reality, she's being carried by CC and AR and Mitchell just doing their thing. Anyone who knows basketball can see Sides doesn't know wtf she's doing. Her post game comments are so f'ing cringey, it's sad. No insight, no breaking down the game. She usually spews something like, "we didnt' get back on defense enough". That's literally it. High school level coaching. Ugh.

Amazing Ckark. Its so hard to defend Clark because of her shooting and passing abilities.
