“Let’s take a look” is my line?
I almost died laughing. These two need to team up on a show somewhere, their comedy timing is fantastic
My Comment above applies to you
They've been on wilty a few times together, obviously Lee as a permanent, & in sure on qi
Agreed. Brilliant combo, would ofc prefer them to do less television friendly skits but together they're good. Chris is totally understated I feel, would love to see... Listen to him live.
They've been doing English panel shows for years mate. They're a staple of English culture at this point.
christmas eve movie coming apparently
There is no one on earth with better timing than Lee.
That's because his brain works on average five times as fast as ours do. He actually has to slow it down so we can understand him, which makes the timing easy.
@@tarmaque Did he tell you that?? lol
Comic timing you mean. There are plenty of jazz drummers can do the timing bit. Actually, Mel Brooks states that his time as a jazz drummer helped him greatly in his comic timing.
Or a faster comedy brain.
@@aerialarboreal9005 We brushed elbows briefly going down a hall once. It was all the time he needed to explain the process in detail.
I laughed a lot. The best part for me is that it is an old, old trope, yet they make it work so well because they are both such excellent performers. A bit like Blackadder used to be.
"Everything old is new again."
What’s the old trope?
Chris’s first time on WILTY is still legendary
Contrary to popular belief, deaf people do make a noise
@@ramanathan1983 😂😂
As an American, what’s WILTY
@@ChunkyJo Would I Lie To You, it's British panel show.
Have a link to a clip?
This was comedy gold. Two great comedians at their very best.
two of the liveliest performers today on stage together! whoever had this idea deserves a pat on back
or a smack on head.
Just read an interview with Chris about this very thing. He and Lee Mack devised it themselves.
@@decodolly1535
Yes & Chris said they thought it up after "too many cups of coffee" !!
I would follow Chris anywhere and if I'm quiet enough he won't even mind. I really want to see more of him... So does he for that matter. The guy is a legend.
😂😂
He's on tour at the minute, I've just booked tickets
@@Ulleskelf better than ticking buckets I suppose 😉
If youre quiet enough, not only will he not mind, he won't even know!
Creepy ass stalker
This makes me cry laughing, it's so well done and completely lacking in malice.
It's just perfect.
I’ve got a ticket to see Chris perform, two weeks next Saturday. Looking forward to it.
Ex sight-ing prospect, feeling it
He isn't
@@SphynxsShadow beat me to it 😂😂😂
“See”.
What was it like?
Even though his world is dark, he brings light into ours. I think he's great on 8 out of 10 :)
Eugh Cringe
@@AndrewLakeUKyes it’s a bit cheesy but it’s the truth is it not?
Chris' deadpan style of delivery cracks me up every time & the chemistry between them is brilliant. hats off to Lee - playing the straight man is much more difficult that it looks, but he does it superbly. Very reminiscent of Morecombe & Wise at their best.
& he's not usual the straight man
Just rewatched it & I could hear morcambe & wise saying the lines with them
Comedy talent at it's best, humour, sarcasm and perfect timing.
They should get an award for this!
absolutely love Chris McCausland, one of my favourite comedians
I LOVE Lee Mack, and Chris is hysterical!!!!
This is so funny. Everything about it brought a smile to my face. Whoever put these two together deserves a massive pat on the back.
"Serious? Lets take a look is my line?"
What a great reply and well worth the crowd's applause.
Ant and Dec should move over. There’s a new iconic duo in town! 😂👏👏👏
Excellent timing from both and i enjoyed it a lot. A Morecambe and Wise skit for the 21st century.
I was chatting to Chris this morning, that is exactly what they were going for. 2 Ronnie's / Morecambe and Wise.
I was thinking the same thing 😁.
@@neilchurchill6494
Chris: If driving at that speed I would never known when to stop.
Lee: You, were, we never did, which is why we never made any money.
The comedy duo we never knew we needed
This is class😂 comedy at its finest.
This is marvellous. Their little double act reminds me of Morecambe and Wise, in a very good way :)
That rare commodity nowadays is humour delivered by two masters 👏
And it was very commen when? I'd posit the idea that it's much more common now with the expansion of people with access to global media, I'm sure you can can give me facts that I'm wrong.
Amazing that. Chris Mccausland is hilarious, the 2 of them together was gold
I love how he’s able to joke about his disability and bring everyone else to laughter
@@andymerrett That was just a guy that looked like him. Was called Rudi I think.🙂
Absolutely. Though Lee has always been open about his Northern accent.

😁🤣
I believe there's a show where his mates take him to various tourist sites to review them. The Grand Canyon and the like.
This reminded me of the old comedy performance my father always loved xx
This has the best Abbot and Costello energy. Absolutely brilliant
a man that can jest about his actual situation, wow how refreshing
Absolutely BRILLIANT! Future classic!
This guy is a role model. The fact that he lost his sight as an adult rather than being born blind and has this level of humour about it is something to admire. I personally think id give up if that happened to me. Wish i could be as strong as him.
Id of watched the show just to see these two 😂😂😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
...and our new comedy duo has been found 😂😂
“Let’s take a look” are they taking the piss 😂
This was hilarious...best part of the whole evening
Chris is very, very funny. Together they're a good combo they should stick together long term.
Lee Mack is the GOAT!
Genuinely a funny duo. The comic timing us impeccable.
This could be a sitcom. 💯
Any producers watching??
Great pairing those two who ever thought of it well done
We are taking turns🤣🤣
this is absolute brilliant love these two theyre the best
Luv luv luv these dudes from reruns of Qi.....✌️🇺🇸
QI? You mean you haven't seen WILTY?
Yes you must check out Would I lie to you!!
This is absolute comedy genius 😂
They should add a third panel on WILTY with Chris as captain
I like how he is also holding the card. Lol.
Well done two great chucklers!
Chris is a LEGEND.
Chris is hilarious… 😂
"we're taking turns"
"WE ARE TAKING TURNS"
I love the fact the Chris was holding the envelope
comedy genius love these 2
Alan Davies does a talk show called 'As yet untitled' where comedians tell funny anecdotes around a round table, and Chris killed it completely with one quip, and had everyone in tears... the quip makes no sense without the rest of the anecdote, but it was " thank god you said tree at the end of that" 😂
Mel’s laugh 😂 Love her!
Saw him on WILTY and him and Lee had a hilarious back and forth😂😂 so glad they did this bit😂
You gotta have A LOT of personality to pull off something like this so smoothly
CLASSIC!!! Love them both
Kerry Pritchard McClean's dirty laugh from the front makes this even better
Brilliant timing !
'I know that's why we're here'
😂
Absolutely brilliant xx
These two should be brothers in a sitcom.
The joke is soo simple but hysterical
It would be funny if he opened the envelope to read the winner and goes: "and the winner is....well, congratulations".
This was gold
It's such a shame Lee hardly does a standup tour anymore. He just doesn't need to. He is incredible.
Brilliant 😂 Chris was friends with one of my uni housemates and he knocked our Christmas tree over one year! Wonder if he remembers?!
Bloody hilarious!!! 👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣
Chris and Lee Flegends
Fuhilariouskin
😄😁😀
Just give these guys their own show!
They are great :) well done guys
legit pissing myself!!!LMFAO
Takes me back to "Not going out"
Also known as, Not going out to be that funny
The episode of not going out with Chris is brilliant
Geweldig!!!!!!
This is great 😂
Daddy!! You're amazing
This reminded me of Morecambe and Wise, in a good way.
The comedy duo u ne er knew u needed
Hilarious double actand scripting 🙂 Would have loved to be around that writing table😆
Omg loved him in 8 out of 10 cats. Very funny man
I enjoyed that, great little sketch
Who's got the laugh in the crowd at 0:39? Had me in fits of laughter along with the jokes, love this duo 😂
I love Chris, go see him live if you get the chance.
Tears of laughter.
I am the only person who has no interest in the nominations or the bafta award here just watching because Chris mccausland is part of it he is quality 😁😁
Chris can you get Lee to read this out to you....... your brilliant 😂
* you're *
@@ThatCoalSoul * really!*

superb!
This was a brilliant sketch !
Dynamic Duo 😂😂😂
It's constantly overstated
* overstated. *
...and no, it isn't. Or at least you make that sound like a bad thing.
The best comedy in the world right here in England….it’s a Natural thing
these two are so good xD
Brilliant loved it 😂
Even though i knew exactly what was going to happen, it was still great
It's kind of funny that Chris and Miles Jupp started their careers on related kids TV shows - Ballamory and Me Too.
This is brilliant.
That's comedy! I like it!
Bruce Lee had lightning quick moves
Lee Mack has an even quicker wit
Awesome duo 😂😂😂
