I was just telling a friend about how reserved they are during the reveal. Their gratitude and emotion are quite genuine, but American’s would be screaming, sobbing, jumping over the table to hug them. A real mess.

I recently saw the Christmas Special in which Patsy EATS something (for the third time, I read) and I ended up on the floor again. I haven't seen all episodes, but Wikipedia's "List of Absolutely Fabulous characters" was of great help. An extensive Who's Who In Absolutely Fabulous Land"! I'm a great fan of Keeping Up Appearances too, but AbFab easily wins in all categories. The brilliance is that all scenes seem totally improvised (which they are not). The whole French/Saunders world is brilliant.
Saunders started my long love affair with British comedy. Thanks to AbFab, and then to back track and find French and so much more! I mean, like python now. But there were a couple dudes in my rocky horror cast, constantly quoted python and ruined them for me for a while. Anywho, any good Halloween party I've ever attended has had a set of Ed & Pats there!

At the start when she pretends to cry too early is because so many people come on this show and blub. Apparently everyone loves jayblades 😂. They normally show shots of people being skilled craftsman, not ripping up clothing or being on their laptop.

Sadly, I only became aware of Dame Judy Dench watching a James Bond movie and later seeing her on a British comedy tv series but make up for it as much as I can watching her other work. I wish her the VERY best life has to offer from an American across the pond as the saying goes.
