There is so much to know in this game that it can be overwhelming. I'm a fallout 4 veteran, but 76 is leaps and bounds more complicated than 4. I've been playing 76 everyday for 2 months and I barely know what I'm doing. Your videos have helped immensely. Thanks!
Same overall the game is easy but there is so much little details that you have to pay attention to. For instance resting in a bed for about 30sec to gain an XP bonus
And playing a banjo gives a buff too. Always sleep and play music then top up the health and thirst. Drink or eat some other stuff for buffs as well. Lots of layering to get a ton of bonus xp.
Thanks for yet another great guide. I wish I knew this when I first started out. Also another fantastic event for scrapping is Eviction Notice with the miniguns, assault rifles, super sledges. Usually pick up a few hundred 38 rounds that go straight into the ammo converter. I highly recommend the ammo maker and ammo points converter for lower levels players. Thanks again👌
Hi. Thanks for the videos. I find The Pitt more practical than Daily Ops, because it drops a ton of ammo, and you don't have any time pressure, and you can farm over and over by just leaving and coming back to the Pitt as many times as you want.
Def. stay with the Pitt. I crafted 8,370 spikes with 645 Steel This earned me 27,900 converter points Can only sell the spikes 300 at a time, 15-25 seconds lag between each. Costs 30,000 converter points to gain only 500 40mm rounds. This machine is an absolute last resort.
@@weirdhammer 40mm has the third highest conversion cost, only mini nukes and rockets cost more. You can get 2400 rounds of .308, .38, .45 and shotgun shells for 30,000 points. You can get 20,000 of .50 and 5mm for 35kand 30k, respectively. For you this might be a last resort. For others it's a viable option.
An excellent guide! I use the Armco for 5.56 as well. With the new contextual ammo drops and the Armco it's hard to run out of 5.56 if you're running a VATS Crusader pistol build.
This is really interesting thanks. I like to swap weapons a lot so I'm having trouble storing all the ammo. After seeing this I may just put it all in the converter and take what I need, when I need it.
Dude, great video as usual. You joined my casual team today and I was temporarily starstruck lol. Had to do a double take. Figured it couldn't actually be you. Took a tour of your CAMP and ended up finding the plan for the rad barrel I've been looking for in your vendor. Worked out nicely lol
Nice vid, I did that in the past great tip for newcomers. I would always advice to trade in ammo from weapons you don’t need in the ammo converter, (if you don’t use fallout 1st) It doesn’t cost any stash space! It can come in handy in your nearby FO76 future
My heavy gunner runs with a Grand Finale modded with the multishot canister. I get loaded down with cannonballs QUICK running West-Tek or any event. Now with the ammo box, you can stack a couple of 1000 cannon balls relatively easy. Also, have the weapon you want to get ammo for from ammo boxes equipped and have used it. That'll make the box drop ammo for that weapon.
gatling gun can also help farm points since the return for 5mm ammo is very huge. 7000 points per 10,000 5mm sounds like a lot, but it's at least half as fast as steel farming at West Tek and can be done along with said farm. You'll get ammopoints in no time
Hey thanks for the video Mr.WT I didn't know the railway spikes are that effective at getting you ammo or if you're like me getting rid of the hundreds of pounds of steel that you have I have in my stash box 😂
What im doing: use the gatling gun to get ton of 5mm and covert them in the ammo converter or just use weapon that also use the ammo type you want like if you want plasma for your enclave flamer use the plasma caster
I just started playing fall out 76 again and ngl i was lvl30 a week ago and watching your videos bumped me up to lvl 75 ✊🏽😅 and im still learning the game
Don't know if anyone cover this. But if you equip the weapon you need ammo for. Then go to vault 76 and activate the perk that lets you find more ammo in boxes. there is I believe 5 or 6 ammo containers in Vault 76 area. If you head out the right way, near the gate. Quick ammo for free, might have to take out a few ghouls but that pretty much it. plus there is probably more areas you could farm ammo containers at. Like surprise no one has done a ammo route farm guide. Will check. Never thought to check. might be a better area.
but that 30% chance card.. Is it better to craft a single stack ammo at a time, or does it add 30% chance with every quantity u set? hope this makes sence.
I just started expeditions but my god the auto axe is 500 stamps and I only get 8 to 11 stamps a day so it’s f I want the union power armor and auto axe I must play daily for a few months the grind for these is horrendous
Thanks for the idea, I have a lot more steel than about any other resource, never thought of ammo using only steel then using the ammo converter for flamer fuel or whatever. Do you know, if the place on the center of the map is nuked, can you get glowing mass, hardened mass, and high radiation fluids from Radiation Rumble? I'm trying to build up some stable flux but having difficulty getting enough high radiation fluids.
Really wanna see that Ultracite Ammo guide now... I've realized that getting Ultracite 5mm and Plasma Cartridge is pretty easy if you're running a Prime Gatling Gun and Prime Plasma Caster. With the Scrounger perk equipped the ammo falls pretty fast, and those weapons consume it slower than you can collect it so it builds up. Getting Ultracite 5.56, .45 and .50 cal is kinda difficult tho. The best I can think of is to run the Daily Ops with those Prime weapons equipped and just collect as much of those Utracite Ammo's as you can. Otherwise you're gonna need to farm ALOT of nuked flora, get a bunch of Hardened Mass, High Radiation Fluids, Glowing Mass etc. and just make a TON of Stable Flux. Anything we can do that's quicker than that? Just run Daily OP's? 🤷♂
For what i saw in a video from a while ago, you should be setting your ammo crafter to .308 since it produces a lot really quickly and it's a very popular cartridge and don't even think about producing .50 since it produces very little, though i saw that in an older video so it might've been rebalanced
@@learycs Good to know, for some weird reason Bethesda still treats .50 like a powerful, rare and expensive cartridge like it was in F4 but at tle same time they treat it like 5mm
I use the Grand Finally. Cannonball's drop like crazy . Most enemies drop in 3 shot . And I'm not even a build for it . Oh and grind the Pitt . I think I start with 9 cannonball's and end on 340 .
Side note, but the real reason most need to farm or craft ammo is because they are running a suboptimal setup that requires a high amount of ammo consumption. Best way to ensure you have enough ammo is to do more damage per bullet. Don't waste perk points on Ammo Factory, get something that increases your damage instead. With a good setup, looting the mobs you come across and nearby containers should grant you more than enough ammo in most cases.

It's a 30% chance for each individual quantity you set. So no worries crafting multiples

Hey i was wondering what is the mask you have all the time ?
A variant of the old man winter mask bought from the atom shop. It should be available when Fasnacht arrives :)
I was in your server last night and you do live in westek lmao 🤣
Were can i get the steal from? And do i need wood?
Farm West Tek or anywhere with a lot of super mutants. Then just scrap the weapons
This makes up for them never putting the Glowing Skeleton costume in as a learnable plane for Minerva 😂
I really wish they'd make that available though..
I just dropped 16k+ railwayspikes to drop weight. Its a currency? 😭
It's a shame that the Ammo converter can't be used for Ultracite Ammo
I'll let the new players I come across know to check out the video so they can get all the information.
I'm just sad about there not being an automatic prime for railways!
Even without a prime receiver I feel it does more than enough damage.
No, you have a great day 😁
super duper only doubles the original craft amount, not counting all the perks.
you can use anyone's ammo machine without buying it.
