Easiest ammo I found (new player who just started the game from level 1) is to join public events that has some sort of horde mode (i.e. aliens or jamboree) and 1 tap every single enemy you see. You just want to tag it and allow other players to kill them. You'll still get the credit for exp as well as loot that comes with it. Each enemy should be dropping 10+ ammo of the weapon type you used to tag it so you can press x (loot nearby) and then manually pick up all the ammo. You'll grow your ammo more and more as you do this where after a few of these events you'll be at 999 ammo count in no time. I even took a weapon with only 6 ammo to 999 this way lol. You get exp and loot at the same time this way! One thing you need to make sure is to ensure you have enough players doing the event so that they'll kill your tagged enemy fast enough.
By building at an iron extractor location, you can get unlimited iron to craft railway spikes. If I'm not mistaken, an ammo converted can be used to exchange it for any ammo you want. you can get some exp for crafting the spikes as well. Don't forget your ammo crafting perks everyone!

Most of these videos are helpful. Typically, I devote one or two game play days to re-supply my chems & ammo after completing the daily's. Radiation Rumble is an event I never pass up, certain Daily Ops, Death from above& Uranium Fever often helps with mass quantities of ammo dropped. Personally looking for friends that still play 76. :/ I feel like I'm missing so much of the new content because I typically only play solo these days.
I'm playing F76 solo and having a blast. Questing content is designed to be done solo and Idk what content you mean but Daylie Ops and Expeditions aren't hard to solo either. Like I solo them Daylie, getting all timed objectives done, and I just got to level 100. So I'm pretty new myself. And for events, for the most part players will show up. I think most players check how many people are in the event right now and if it says 0 they don't bother. So I just port in and see them coming too. And of course depends on rewards, but rn I take every Treasury Note I can.
@@TheRoibm Maybe it's because I play as a bloodied commando, I'm quite squishy for incoming damage. But good on you if you can venture the wasteland alone and do all of that!
Daily Ops for Stimpacks. You get a ton after completing them and can repeat the process. If I’m farming ammo that day for an hour I’ll usually get 75 plus easily. If you aren’t doing Daily Ops yet, crafting the healing salve is excellent and easy to get the materials for.

Easier just to do daily ops and events you will get tons of it
Is 50 cal findable too or i have to smith em all ?
Well, when you get a decent build going you can just pop in a Daily Ops and the enemies will drop so much ammo it won't be necessary to farm it. 😊
Just curious if this works for fuel for like the flamer? Or is it ballistic only?
What ever weapon you have in hand will be the ammo you get. That's how I get ammo for my Flamer.
do daily ops for ammo and the pitt
How long does it take to refresh? I played for like an hour and they stayed empty
Personally looking for friends that still play 76. :/
I feel like I'm missing so much of the new content because I typically only play solo these days.
XD
So daily ops I just cannot survive alone, if I do - it's because I've died 100 times (certain mutations on enemies suck... )
I also feel like everything can get repetitive alone.
But good on you if you can venture the wasteland alone and do all of that!
Went to WV Lumber Co and got obliterated when I walked through the front gate, is there a requirement before you go in there
It's part of the early mission Hunter for Hire I think. From the bar near the Overseer's camp.
Can you get ammo for heavy weapons doing this? Also any idea on how to get a bunch of stimpacks?
Yes, containers have ammo for whatever gun you are holding when you open them so it works for everything.
Question bout wv lumber can u keep returning to it if u kill the leader or scare em off?
You can, but they're hostile if you killed the leader.
@@SlCKNESS_ should i just join them then?
@@derekwilhelm1555 No need. I've killed the leader and I can still go and loot the place for ammo just fine. You just have to kill like 5 Raiders every time.
@@SlCKNESS_ only 5 i thought be way more than 5
@@derekwilhelm1555 It's about 5 for the whole ammo route there. If you wanna re-loot the whole compound I imagine there's a few more raiders inside, but I haven't had a reason to go in there after killing the Leader.
Take over grafton steel workshop. Make ammo
How do I get the infamous railway gun and can I use it at level 30

This will not work for the plasma gatling gun.
expeditions are better for ammo
