Thank you Jolene for showing us just how involved the process is , certain other vehicle builders just say now we're sending the car off to paint... And the next thing that cars coming back on the back of a truck or on a trailer to only be put back together like a kitset... I've watched all the top builders on television and most of them send them out to get done.. This is one of the reasons I respect CHAD !!!! Because we get to see you actually are doing it.. Thank you sincerely for all your time and effort to bring this to us.. all over the world. God bless y'all from down under in New Zealand.
I know exactly what you’re going through with the sanding. I’m a Jade carver and spend a lot of my days grinding stone on a diamond grinding wheel and then polishing with diamond paste. I can no longer use fingerprint scanner to unlock my iPhone cos I keep losing my fingerprint 😅. But I’m loving the work that you, Chad and the guys are doing 👍👍
Jolene is blessed also to spend her time with the legendary BAD CHAD' an artist who has made a great stamp on the motor vehicle world . And I don't forsee him stopping what he loves to do in a hurry,.
Ya I've wRmed up the finger tips numbers of times . The old arms got tired as well and the aches in the back . Never really go away . When it's all done I see your point Jolene . Satisfying! Thumbs-up Jolene ❤and Chad and team Hiltz
Put a rope under the rubber around the window to hold the edge of the rubber up! It's easier to tape up and you have a clean rubber af 2:29 ter you paint! After you paint the car just pull the rope out and the rubber lays back down clean!
I can relate Jolene. We were drywalling our house and found that the fingerprint reader on my phone and door lock no longer worked. I had to reenter my fingerprints more than once. 😆
A red scotch bright pad is equivalent to 320 grit. I find them easier to get in the tight grooves. First hit it with the 220 on the flat areas then go over it with the red scuff pad. Saves a little skin. Give it a try next time. 😉✌
lol sanding off your fingertips , my wife preped her car for paint and she wondering why blood in the sanding water , she blocked everything after that

If you know then you know.
I'll take that over sitting behind a computer all day!
The beauty of efforts is what you get as an end result, which is AWESOME.
I am eagerly waiting for your Bugatti and this 1950 Ford to get complete 😊😊
Doing all the metal work seems easier than preping for paint. Prep work take a whole lot more time to work on than metal work.
you are doing a fantastic job Jolene, xo

Chad is a kool dude and very lucky to have Jolene working together, stay awsome 😊
Man Jolene, Chad is so lucky.

It's even better when you see the fruits of your labor when paint gets sprayed you can say you I sanded that.
Awesome, Thanks
Can't wait to see it in paint cruising into a local show.. and really hope you picked a popping color for it
looking goood!

Yes, I've sanded my finger tips off, hard work.
I love it when I see you in videos doing the same as Chad does .

Definitely a manicure and plenty of moisturiser I’m thinking Jolene
great to see it ready for paint😎 better way to protect your fingers with masking tape really cheap too🤠 good luck
That's putting some skin in the game.
Very. Outstanding. You two. Are. Thanks
Can’t wait to see when it’s painted 👍
Aye, cheers!!!

Just wait for the end result. I'm very curious as to what color you are choosing for this one.
Yes ,Quick tip to avoid it is to put cut plasters over the tips of your 3 sanding fingers.
Yes I have in 7th grade shop class on the belt sander. Shot blood everywhere two fingertips were flat for years.😂
I've tried to get them off once for reasons I'm not willing to disclose 😅😂
Nice to a have partner that helps sometimes!
thks ,yes i have dry and wet sanding kenworths and peterbilts.
I used to build boats and sanded tons of teak trim. I put masking tape on my finger tips to save the skin !
Work your fingers to the bone . What do you get ? Boney fingers. We love you Queen Jolene!
❤❤😊
Been there done that a few times Jolene, lol.

Around the windows too.
Doubt he knows what red scuff pads are, especially after that seam tape job.

Tension , stress, anger time to knap
All 11 of them
I like to see you more in the video's while building cars 😃
Yaw, like adding color to a black and white film
Yaw
Fingers get sore after a while.
your so amazing jolene 🌹
lol sanding off your fingertips , my wife preped her car for paint and she wondering why blood in the sanding water , she blocked everything after that
That’s what it takes
Everytime I sand 😢😂😂❤
I know I have sanded my finger prints off many times in my twenties🤣
Yes done that, Keep up the Great videos and you need a mic
Absolutely
He'll yes rap masking tape around your fingertips. It works try it
Well Jolene just think of the money you are saving on a manicure, I bet Chad doesn't have his nails done! If you know what I'm saying...😉
Handling bricks, sandblasting names into them for a Veteran's Memorial had my hands in the worst way.Had to constantly move, paint, bake them.
Being a painting contractor I literally sanded my fingerprints off.
When I was doing bodywork, I didn't have fingerprints 😁
I need a jolene cos I hates sanding
Why I don't see anymore the 1950 Ford??
Why I have only blue jeans in my head??
🥴
If you use a scotch brite underneath the sandpaper you won't have that issue use red over grey.
Good moring bad Chad and Jolene from st paul alberta
Try getting oven cleaner on your finger tips
I said chocolate to my wife I just knew you would pick that from the car at the1 show I seen u at.
like 117 !
Hi JoJo 💖✌️🖐hi Chad 👍
40 grit will tear the skin off the round sander with plate are the worst
I havs a cold 2ddae
Ok,,,calender time,,,just sayin
I have gone through times when I have had no finger prints its common when working on primer. Play guitar and you will calas.
We’re is your Hiltz gear your out of uniform. lol
If it's any consolation, Jolene, they do come back! 😊
Yaw
Esquse my fench
I think this work is not suitable for you, Jolene... Manual scratching does not leave nails or even fingerprints.
It's nice to hear your voice over that hi toned squirrel chad do all the commentary from now on !
YOU KNOW ITS FUN.................................................NOT
Looking at 1950 fordson boogle, man those cars are ugly. Not easy to pick agood color for sometning so damn lacking in character
