    I like that Nepo attacks like a madman and makes his moves quickly... I find it endearing. But the problem is Magnus has engine-like precision and just doesn't make mistakes. It's like Magnus is Nepo kryptonite. I'd love to see Ian and Hikaru play

    • @denizgoktas116

      Magnus is everyone's kryptonite because everyone has a flaw but Magnus has less flaws than anybody else. He had a bad score against Nepo in classical (though many of it was when they were kids) but it changed drastically last 4-5 months. There was a reddit thread after that WC series showing Magnus has more or less dominated every player around his era etc.

In golf, recently, they've been able to show % chance the player makes a putt, would be interesting to see what the chances of X player finding the best move would be in chess. Thats what people said about Kasparov. Theres always and another and there always will be. The game of chess evolves just as everything else does.

    • @arjunsinghverma9173

      @@BonurChamp yeh but here’s the thing chess does not have any scope of evolvement due the involvement of chess engines it’s the same 32 pieces on 64 squares infact the future of chess is all but fucked because everyone will be engine backed all the time leading to more draws there’d be less of natural talent involvement in my opinion and Magnus being so natural at chess is the reason I don’t see anyone being as good as him

    Ian is so nearly there sooo nearly there, He had an advantage so many times. at this point he's like vegeta to magnus's goku (before you shout and scream read the manga a lot has happened after the tourney of power)

    • @stoutlager6325
      @stoutlager6325 2 года назад +2

      True and Magnus is well aware of this. It's why he plays just a tad more defensively against Ian than he does against others. Nepo is at his best with the initiative. Sort of a frontrunner's mindset. He plays fast I think in part because it can be mildly intimidating even to the best GMs. Magnus' strategy against Ian is to give him nothing, continue giving him nothing, happily take draw after draw until Ian loses patience. Once that happens Ian makes mistakes and it's over. World Championships and this, same story.

    • @mohammadsharififard1686
      @mohammadsharififard1686 2 года назад

      @@stoutlager6325 Yeah and that's the thing I feel like after the WC Ian just went and worked more on his chess as clearly He was playing amazingly at this tournament while the real problem that he had to work on was mental endurance and at this point, I don't see how, if he fixes this mental aspect, he cannot be on the same level or surpass Magnus.

    damn that anxiety tangent at 25:20 pulled me right off my other monitor. Such a MOOD. Thank you for keeping it real here on youtube even when you have some of your filters on. One day I will make it to your streams live and be able to experience the wild Levy (did I even spell this right? You can tell I listen more than read when it comes to chess) in a slightly more natural environment for him.
    Keep up the baller work. Keep keepin it real

    Its crazy, nepo lost the world championship and had psychological breakdown. And then shows up fight for first place again and looses. He really deserved being on top. And i like his aggressive entertaining style. Way more inspiring games. If you watch magnus games, its like watching stockfish making moves.
