Nice video, it gives a good idea of the work that goes into just one tiny birb, though please do not cook while your cockatiel is out, because he could fly straight into the boiling water. Personally I would have introduced vegetables way sooner as a chop and put something sweet in it like corn or sweet potato to make him eat it.
Yes he has a lot of human company and he really enjoys that. If I'm not home he will just sleep. And if i don't give him enough attention or flight time he will start making unpleasent noices more often showing his unhappyness. The cage was second hand
My little one, pictured,, eats from my hand, and on it, inside the cage, I seen a video on letting your bird out so he/she is in your territory, his cage is his territory, kinda makes sense, I've opened his cage now, see what he does, he's not scared of my hand

He is doing great. Still scared often but we got it so far in control that he comes on the shoulder daily when we pick him up and loves to join for cuddles

Hey i just wanna say any toy with fabric in it is not good cause they can easily eat the fibers which they shouldnt.

We mostly used the cage top, that he trusted to get him back, at first.
