everyone knows Ann’s iconic voice but Nancy.. her strawberry blonde hair and soft bedroom eyes.. she was always in the background but always made center stage
Nancy is beautiful, talented and it’s fair IMO that as attractive as she is, her hands on the guitar and that terrific voice are surely the reason that she’s up there in the stratosphere with all the other greats showcasing her musical excellence. Live in Seattle’s ‘THESE DREAMS’ is an example of her ABSOLUTE BEST !…
The only thing missing is Nancy's high signature kick during some of her songs. It should be immortalized with a statue of her at the entrance to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.

Nancy's signature kick and other jumps are as amazing as her guitar work. She dresses so down to earth on stage and is such a pleasant girl to look at. I really dig her...

Nancy is so much more than the intro to Crazy on You - but that piece alone is enough to solidify her place on the pantheon of great guitarists. She is a multi-instrumentalist, a great singer in her own right, a talented lyricist and composer, and a very attractive lady.
She deserves every accolade that has been bestowed on her.
I think of her as the Paul McCartney of Heart 😅
I never will get tired of that intro, wicked good.
The name of the intro is "Silver Wheels" fyi
It took me hours of practice over weeks to learn how to play that intro correctly. Other than Lynyrd Skynyrd's "I Know a Little," and Dire Straights' "Sultans of Swing," it is perhaps the hardest tune I have ever learned to play.
I just love this woman.....

I'm going to be profound here.... She was/is a hot piece of you-know-what. Amazing talent. When I was a kid I seen her on the cover of hightimes magazine with women of rock and was hooked.

You are so right. Steve Fossen laid down the groove. Nobody that came after was as good a Bass Player as Steve Fossen. I read somewhere the two sisters in a Bitch Fest kicked Roger and Steve out of the Band. I have no idea if that is true but I lean to believe it.
@@Spothface Sadly, Roger had a falling out with Nancy and he was voted out of the band by Steve, Ann, Howard, Nancy and Michael in October of 1979. That's when Ann & Nancy officially took control of the band. In 1982, Ann & Nancy fired Steve and Michael.

I lost count of how many Heart concerts I attened in my youth - for every album released between 1975 and 1990. And their shows never disappointed, although I did prefer the original lineup with Roger, Steve, and Michael.
She also did the music for the movie Almost Famous.
