Actually Ann doesn't have a very nice speaking voice, it kinda of a monotone drone, nothing I thought it would be, Nancy has a better voice in that respect
I ended up going to the Foo Fighters 20th anniversary and was so surprised and happy when I realized Heart was coming on stage to perform. Nancy always captivated me when she played I didn’t even know they would be there, have seen so many great concerts and Heart is still the first band I mention when I talk about the greatest live shows I’ve ever seen -and they weren’t even the headliner!!
She came to my town last year for a bar show like that. I think she likes those more intimate venues. She can't always hit the notes now, but she is fearless and goes for it anyway.
It's amazing how styles and images changed so fast in those days. Just a year later Ann and Nancy's hair got big and their 1983 album Passionworks was far different from Private Audition. Great interview!
My first time discovering this band. Man where the heck have I been. Some reason today the song barracuda was stuck in my head. Heard the song for the first time from guitar hero. Looooved playing that song. So today I was like.. who the heck sang it.. now I'm down the rabbit hole.
Today is April 19 2024 hard to believe that Ann and Nancy we're scared of Elvis anyway it was great to wake up this morning and watch this episode of David Letterman back in the day❤❤❤😊

To stunningly, talented and gorgeous women. I know Nancy gets most of the praise in the luxe department. But take a good look at in here. She is absolutely beautiful.
The entirety of Western Washington has changed in the past 41-42 years, and not much of it has been for the better. Seattle has certainly spread its problems throughout the region, especially within the past decade. Olympia certainly isn't helping matters.
I was confused for a second at 2:11 when they both stated their name in what sounded like a non American accent. I was pretty certain they were American but I had to look it up afterwards just to be sure.
I saw them at the Byrne Meadowlands arena in Jersey at around this time. John Cougar Melloncamp was the opening act for them. All these years later, I remember Melloncamp more than I remember them. I Dont remember why, but for some reason, their performance that night was not very memorable. Don't get me wrong, I was a bona fide fan of Heart, and had bought most of their albums. I thought most of their songs were fantastic, and it didn't hurt at all that there were two gorgeous hotties in the band and I was a young man with over-active hormones. Having said that, there was something wrong that night with their performance, maybe they were simply tired, jaded and sick of being on the road, but their performance seemed a little flat, kinda like they were "mailing it in". On the other hand, John Cougar Mellencamp , who was relatively new to the scene back then, really put his heart and soul into his performance, and also established a very good rapport with the audience. I was never a fan of his, and never even bought any of his albums, but I gotta admit that he did a better job than Heart on that warm night in Jersey!
Don't know if you read their autobiography, but they explain what their tour issues, i.e., the album's lack of sales, the band being on it's last legs, and some of the rude cr@p Mellencamp said to them.
I have two kids. One with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. The other is blonde with gray eyes. Same momma. It happens. And yes, I am 100% sure they are both mine. 😂
I love Ann. I love the early 80’s perm. My least favorite era musically. But my favorite visually. Something about her hair. I mean 70’s Ann was sweet too. Nancy peaked in the next era. The GLAM era.
It's really sweet how Nancy seems to compliment and adds to whatever Ann is saying. Younger sister vibe. Love it.
She's very shy
Complement
Nancy (to me) simply exudes sweetness!
She's the perfect compliment for Ann, & I think them being sisters is key to that.
Crazy now they are like 68 and 72 and still going. This like 40 yrs ago blown away who knew then?

their original drummer Mike Derosier was my drum teacher growing up. this band has had an interesting place in my life lol
He went to my high school, Woodway.

He's a great drummer.
I met him at a Denny's in Aberdeen, WA.....he was with his band Heart by Heart....got to visit and get pictures!! Incredibly powerful drummer!
Ann and Nancy Wilson wrote the soundtrack to my youth - I always wanted to meet them... I love how these old interviews were so natural.
Nancy Wilson so gorgeous at her prime 😍😍😍
ANN ALSO
Best female band ever, both lovely and talented, their music has stood the test of time!
She’s still very attractive.
Ann was, too, but her prime was a few years prior.
I know there was a 💩ton of makeup & hairspray going on, but they both looked SO 🔥🔥🔥 in the video of their song "Alone". 🥰❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Saw them in 1978. Best concert ever.
“Dog & Butterfly?” That would’ve been amazing!
There are so many great women in Rock and Roll. But listening to these sisters, on any one of their great albums, has them as No. #1 with me.
Heart and dogs. 2 of my favorite things!
