not sure why anyone would dislike this video. this is awesome thank you!
Because they either haven’t got a Chevy truck or it isn’t an LTZ trim as folding mirror is available for that.
See? This is great to learn about this little tricks and features. Nobody ever reads the manuals but we do watch videos. Good job!
Thanks. Video is a great tool for this fun stuff!
As a prior sales consultant for both GM and Ford, huge props to this gentleman. There are too many sales consultants who chase the sale, but don't give you a proper delivery. Yes, the customer has already been there for "days" so to speak, but these new vehicles are a massive computer and have all sorts of gadgets and really need to be explained!
Great job!
👍

Awesome Video. Love your Style. You sound like an Honest Salesman.
This is great, thank you!
Thank you! I found this vehicle to be very useful! :)
Appreciate it!
Thanks very useful.
thanks for the tips!!
Anytime Suzanne!
Dan thanks great Job !!!!!!!
My 17 High Country 6.2L has these features but thanks for sharing
That's Nice!
Don't know how I got here but I'm glad I did
Good tip bud!
awesome!
I like the auto roll down all 4 windows from your key fob, very handy for sure.
and... you can hit the unlock button while they are going down to stop them part way down.
How do you roll the windows down?
That's pretty cool I would love to have 2015 mine is only 2002
wow! AWESOME
Thanks for this though it is a little dated at this point in 2018. In the Houston area salesmen seem to be completely unaware of how these things work. If you ask, they try to change the subject (as if that would work - LOL).
Thanks again. Great video.
Oh wow that's crazy haha.
Appreciate it!
Thomas Lee Lol here in Michigan even the mechanics couldn’t figure it out over the span Over a week when i had my brand new 18’ Tahoe that’s 2 months old in for service for possible engine or transmission problems 😂 and i showed them after this video
Dated you say, hello from the future. I have some warnings for you, lol.
Awesome sauce...I didn't know that
My 2015 chevy Tahoe ltz does not have this feature. Is it a computer programming option
awesome, thanks!
brand new to the chevy family and, i just bought a 2017 surburban andboy oh boy do i love it. im coming from a nissan versa.
Congrats! Welcome to the family!
can you do that in 2016 silverado LT with all star edition. I have navigation system & remote start?
Wouldn’t remote start be better?
It cranks the AC rather than just rolling down the windows. Which not only works better but probably smarter if you’re somewhere that has frequent rain or snow
When playing the DVD in the 2015 or newer model Chevrolet SUV.. is there anyway you can listen to the DVD through the speakers of the vehicle instead of using the 2 headphones
Thanks for this.
no problem. This video is several years old but many people aren't shown the cool features on the vehicles that they purchase. Thanks for commenting!
Yeah. I have a 2015 Suburban. Knew about the side view default, but not the remote window.
@@iwarriorpoet1 it's a great feature to use in the spring and summer vs using the remote start to fire up the ac
How do i remotely roll up the windows?
Cool I'll try this on our 2016
What trim do you have?
Awesome.... Is there a button in the vehicle itself that allows me to open the trunk/lift gate? The only way I can open the trunk/liftgate is with the FOB. Is there any other way that I can open the trunk/lift gate without using the FOB? (Thanks in advance)
Sorry for the delayed reply! Yes. If you have a powerliftgate, there is a button located on the roof near the sunroof open/close button. It is round. It also rotates right and left allowing you to adjust the liftgate opening height for low clearance areas. There is also a touch pad on the inside of the rear handle on the liftgate itself that allows you to open it.
if you have a late year 2015 or a 2016 with wireless charging , your truck probably has handsfree liftgate also.
How do I reset notification that says battery in key for is low? I already changed the battery in fob.
Would this work on a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ?
On the new 2021 Tahoe,How do you turn off the little LED light that illuminates the cup holder between driver and passenger front seats
There is a small dial, like a thumb wheel, on the dash to the right of the steering wheel, left of the lights switch. It also controls console lighting.
Can you roll up windows up with remote. Also can you set it to turn your heated seats on when you remote start
My 2016 Silverado has an option on that menu for heated seats. It seems to sense the temperature and decide whether you need it on or not.
Is this standard or only with the LTZ trim?
Alright ! 👍🏽
Dan, referencing "navigation" on the 2016 - 2500 Silverado LTZ can the "passenger" set a destination when the vehicle is in motion? On our '13 Suburban, given the circumstances as described the navigation screen would inquire if the person setting up the navigation was the passenger, and if yes, did we want to proceed. We haven't received this inquiry or capability in our 2016 Silverado. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
You can set the destination using your voice on the 2016 model while the vehicle is in motion. No one can manually enter a destination while the vehicle is in motion on the 2016. Push the voice command button on the steering wheel and say "Navigation commands". It should ask "what type of desination...address? intersection? point of interest?" and it will walk you through it.
Thank you for your assistance. You have been a great help.
Respectfully and very grateful to you,
Paddy O
Patrick O'Reilly no problem! We love our Chevrolets :)
For a second there I thought Tom Brady was selling Chevy products! Guys looks like him!
Does 2015 yukon denali have the same features ?
Hey Dan I have same vehicle but it's a 2016 . Do I get these same feautures?
Yes. These features are on the 2016. Follow the same simple configuration instructions and you should be good to go.
Is this only on the LTZ?
Nice shoes
what year model do these features become available?
It becomes available on the 2015 models.
Cool shoes
same on gmc yukons
Hello Jason
any secrets for a 2014 GMC Acadia Denali?
Thanks!
Let me see what I can dig up!
Also could you please email me at: aerontudor@gmail.com
Thx u
They are 100% identical
Hmm, read this in the manual, might have been in the "secret" chapter. Now the real secret feature would be how to turn off the PITA auto locking "feature".
Ron Micjan fbhdhrdajfhhqehgdhg
These features are only available on LTZ range of Tahoe
My LT has them.
Mines doesn't have that
Mine only has the window operation
can you let the windows back up with the remote?
+Marcus Wigfall Not yet, It's a safety concern just in case heads or hands are in the way. Wouldn't be surprised to see this implemented in the future!
Marcus Wigfall Dodge has is just waiting on Chevy/GMC to do it.
Marcus Wigfall actually BMW windows have been doing that sense 2007
badboyofcr actually since 1990
Wouldnt matter. The alarm screams wheb the door is opened. How you test the alarm anyways.
Run remotely without turning on the air conditioner?
I need help. When I lock my doors on my 2018 Tahoe, i dont see my parking lights flash, or hear my horn. How can I fix that?
Did you resolve this or did you need help figure it out?
Did that don't work on a kick out in 2020 Subway suburban
Is that only for LTZ? Or any Trim?
only LTZ
you can do that with my remote and it was already set from the factory
2015 tahoe Ltz dont have the window program
so a 2015 barely has remote roll down windows my sisters friend had that feature and that is a 2004 model Nissan altima
Many GM cars/trucks have had this since the 90's.
Scott Wilkins my 09 denali doesn’t have it
Do this guy come in the hidden package??? Hehehehe
No
Benis lol
does this work on 2016 Tahoe LT
Sorry! Only on LTZ models or LT's with the luxury package.
Good video.... Volkswagen has been doing the window trick with the key for 18 plus yrs. Copyed by GM.
not a secret. its in the menu
how can I turn off on star my fiance stresses me out by looking everywhere I go even if am not doing anything wrong help!!!!!!
Easy solution...dump the fiance!
😂😂😂
Cancel onstar or give the bitch the boot.
But VW have had the remote roll down window since 1998 to now
Need to specify 2015 and up.
How do you row the windows up with the key?
JY Nation, You cannot roll it up with the key...only down. Thanks for the question!
First go get an oar off your boat, then row the window up using the oar to push the button on the key.
And if you accidently hold for 2 seconds when its raining guess the insides gonna get wet too....hahaha
Keola Kamaunu Why you dont enable the window rolldown option
Not likely. It takes a small amount of effort to press that button for more than 2 seconds. It's also recessed so harder to accidentially press anyway. Nice try though.
did gm finally use something other than plastic. my denali mirrors wont turn anymore because of a cheap plastic inside of it that apperantly breaks after too much use.
badboyofcr Thats funny. My 05 has power folding and i use them all the time since ive bought the thing in 11. Thats 7 years useage and no problems.
Why is this a hidden feature in a new vehicle? Back in 1997 this was a feature in my new VW Jetta, it even opened the sunroof along with the windows. . .
Secret? I think there is going to be some frustrated owners of certain models of Silverado trying to find the fold in mirror feature :)
Will this work in a 2014 LT?
no
Did you try it?
Very nice
Just another thing that go out, and cost lots money to fix.
Which GM vehicles have remote window operation?
LTZ models and LT with Luxury Package I believe.
jenkinsj0672 You more than likly dont have the power folding option in your mirrors but manual.
Most all with power windows. Have had it for many years.
Ii see that your truck is LTZ what about a LT
Too bad the $65K Tahoe LT doesn’t come with adaptive cruise control, and the base corolla gets it standard 🙄
The Car Fanatic you’re not kidding, I just leased one that was like $65,900 or something & found it historical that I couldn’t get cooled/heated seats, only heated & or wireless charging or the rich looking orangish/brown leather seats unless I went up to the fully loaded, top of the line “priced as high as a mountain” or something mountain 🏔 edition that was $80k+ & wanted over a $1,000 a month to lease the darn thing when Cadillac ran my stuff & offered me a fairly well equipped Escalade for just over $700 a month 😂. Chevy must be outta there damn mind. And people should be able to have any feature added to any of the models if they’re willing to pay for it. You shouldn’t have to go up to a completely different trim level/sub model in my opinion.
My 2015 yukon xl has it, but the 2016,s dont???🤔
Can't find the Apple Carplay for a 2015 silverado...
Robert Sciandra, unfortunately Apple CarPlay became available on the 2016 model in the Silverado.
No features for closing again the window? Why?
This is super old technology. Its not secret. Just most salesman don't know much about the vehicles they are selling.
I seen a guy that lived up here in Wisconsin with that stupid so-called feature on the windows he hit the button accidentally before he went to bed and woke up with about 7 in of snow in his car
Since when the back windows go all the way down
Francesco Galluzzo my 2007 Yukon denali xl all Windows roll down even back ones not that half shit
Since GM engineers things correctly.
Hi
ok how to close windows by remote?
This operation only works to open all of the windows. It will not work in reverse order to close the windows. You'll have to do this manually once you are in the vehicle.
👍
is the window opening available on the LT models
Sorry, not on the LT models!
Opening windows actually does work on the regular LT. But not the mirror folding. I have an LT and can do the windows with fob.
....features of which are not available on all vehicles
That doesn’t look like a 15. My screen look a lil different
Just like a 2001 BMW.
how much would that car cost
Tina Epps ls is 49k lt is 50-60k ltz is 60-70k
Lil Boush oh ok thanks
50 thousand dollar interior and a 5 thousand dollar tinfoil body. Wooo hooo!
Still better than any Ford
Craig Y because Obama didn’t bail them out?
Yeah, buy a Ford instead. Beer can on wheels. With two turbos that are junk at 80k miles...just to get it down the road.
No Obama didn't OK the loan, Bush did. Idiots are everywhere these days...
*All* of these added "features" add to the high cost of vehicles.
So instead of just pushing the side mirror with your hand you pay an extra 2k for the SUV for the convenience of a remote.
Queremos motores 4 cilindros turbo por favor muchas gracias.
Unfortunately, that's not a very "automatic" feature. I have this feature on my 2016 Escalade. My '13 RX350 also has auto folding mirrors but they work differently. Once enabled as soon as you lock the vehicle with the remote the mirrors fold in. No holding the remote for two seconds is required. It would be nice to see GM incorporate this feature in a truly automatic fashion. Nice truck though.
J Flores this is 2002 2003 stuff
Swag 😂
Man that is a whole lot of punching an memorizing how to go about it can GMC make it simple
These are not secrets the real secret would be if that vehicle last more than 2 years without problems
I thought he was tom brady
Tom Brady
yea but how do you put the windows up? With key? My car does that , but its stupid , be nice to put the windows up with the key , cos I often forget to roll up my windows and gotta go back and do it, I mean who gives a fuck about putting them down' its opposite what it should b
shaky fingers bro
You're looking at me all creepy like. Stop it.
secret??? are you in 1st grade??? there are no secret features!!!!!😅😅😅😅😅
Why buy such a gas guzzler and that too with the reliability level of GMs.... no thanks. I like my money.
Your fuckin high if u think this is a gas guzzler. One of the best trucks out there on gas. I bought a new suburban today because of it being great on gas. Just say you can't afford it.
Big secret!! READ THE MANUAL WHEN YOU BUY THE CAR!!!! don’t be a dumbass
Title is misleading. How is it a secret if it's in the menu? I'll wait...
Did the menu tell you how to use it?....... Secret revealed.
It doesnt tell you how long or what to do on the button. Nice try though.
Dude, white pants?
