Tahoe LTZ Fully loaded, added a Whipple super charger. 450 HP out of the 5.3. Sixty years of driving all the top cars, this Tahoe is best all around vehicle. People hauler, off road all wheel, trailer pulling, comfort ride control, interior and exterior beauty , fuel economy did not change 18mpg average. Has 85k and never in for service. Break job and oil changes only . It is a rocket ship, I love it and ordering a 2019 when I can. Thanks Arlington Plant. Keep up the great work. Chev trucks , the best in the world.

Active fuel management is the biggest pos ever added to the ls motors. I have removed mine and I get no worse gas mileage then when it was on the truck

How did that work out for ya? I'm doing some service work on a friend's 2016 Z71 Tahoe. He tells me he's just put the second replacement transmission in it.
I have drove every style Tahoe created. Every family member has either a Tahoe or Suburban in every model/era
By far without a doubt the 2000-2006 Tahoe/Suburban is superior in terms of reliability, durability, and longevity. The modern bells & whistles alongside the new design and hip slide-up radio console is what you’re paying for essentially.
Yes I agree... I had a 2006 LT TAHOE, unfortunately the month of Dec 2021 a full size tree and me decided it was a good day to meet.. And my car didn't make it.. Definitely was a good SUV

An unbelievable first impression? They're so common.
Only thing is the Color on Hood & Top is Fading after 3 year I did stub to buy an Paint Insurance for almost $2,000.00 for 7 year Warranty Insurance Co don’t warranty on it after I call and talk to them they don’t Respond I call back try to cancel my Insurance They said cannot cancel So all New car buyer Do Not buy Paint Insurance like the way I Stupid Did Good luck to All !!!!!

Not sure this video aged well. I think most owners of these have ditched them or have had to put at least one transmission in them. It's only 6 years old!!
Thx for the video. I have 2 questions: 1) Does the running board retract on the LT model? If so, how? 2) After we had our truck serviced, the hands-free rear gate stopped working. How do you set the rear gate to open by kicking your foot underneath?
