Anbox:
Anbox puts the Android operating system into a container, abstracts hardware access and integrates core system services into a GNU/Linux system. As Anbox is running an entire Android system, conceptually any application can run. Anbox puts Android apps into a tightly sealed box without direct access to hardware or your data. Anbox Runs Android without hardware virtualization and seamlessly bridges over hardware acceleration features.
Installation Instructions: [ Important only ]
1. sudo apt update
2. sudo apt install snapd
3. sudo apt install --devmode --beta anbox
4. sudo snap install core
5. sudo apt install wget curl lzip tar unzip squashfs-tools
6. wget raw.githubuser...
chmod +x install-playstore.sh
7. ./install-playstore.sh
8. anbox.appmgr

I thought network wasn't enabled when it wasn't enabled in the anbox settings.
But when I downloaded apps from google play, it actually worked!

thanks for the vid :) i had a few problems, i'm on zorin os here is how i fixed 1)didn't see the file on desk (it was lokated @ cd /home/(user) moved it over to desk and than enter
cd /home/(user)/desk in terminal, 2) error line 155. i opend the file en added line 134 with this -> || [ ${ANBOX} = "/usr/bin/anbox" ] than it worked :)

Thanks it worked ... but (a nooby at this) after installing Anbox and PlayStore I now have 2 Volume folders showing up in Computer ... where it use to show only the file system and hard drives. What happen??? When I open Gparted tool they disappear but reappear when closed ... there both show 326MB with the same files inside ... wtc.

I started downloading apps in playstore but it's stuck on pending.

I have installed Playstore on Anbox, but every time I try to access PLaystore a message appears saying the Google server is temporarily unavailable. Also, and definately related to this issue, I have wifi installed at home but when I go to settings in Anbox the wifi setting will not stay on ON, instead the radio button in the Anbox WIfi setting continuosly switches itself to OFF. Are there solutions to these issues?

hello, thanks a lot it , playstore is working. unfortunetly im searching an especific apk in this playstore but it doesnt appear. The apk is available in a normal android device, like a cell phone, but in this case it doesnt appear in this appstore. What can i do, do you have any idea. Again, thanks a lot.
Download it from web and install it manually.
Your work is superb but the last step is not working for me installing playstote it says "lzip is not installed please install lzip
install lzip in separte terminal using apt install lzip

I’ve successfully installed it but all x86 apps that were functioning previously crashed after install. Gapps is working but all installed apps through play store also crashes.

I don't have it now. Try Changing the Directory Permission before executing the Script. This might help if you are getting Permission Denied.

you forgot to mention that systemd must be enabled at boot time
"sudo chmod +x install-playstore.ch" does not show the file, but it ist existing on the HDD. Can´t do "install-playstore.sh" afterwards, too.🤥
