Arriving In Brunei 🇧🇳Day 1

- We flew from Kuching to Miri and in Miri we got a bus to Brunei.
From Miri to the border with Brunei it's about 30min and then from there to the capital will be roughly 4 hours by bus.
We wanted to stop 50km before the capital but the bus driver forgot about us and drove us to the capital instead.
Watch the video to find out how we managed to go back to the city we wanted to be.

We found the place to volunteer on a platform called workaway. We’ve been having an amazing time here plus we get to stay with the locals and help out with whatever projects they have. 😃😃😃😁

Whoop, welcome to Brunei should go to temburong if your interested rainforest or more greens temburong is a place to visit also bandar is a place to visit which is the eco park, kampung ayer (water village) and beaches should really go tungku and empire beaches oh go to empire hotel best view sunset and sunrise
We will definitely be going to Temburong very soon. And Bandar we are going back there a few more time to explore a few more places 😊😊😃

I don't know if you're still in brunei but if you are, I recommend going to the light festival event. "Hadfa Garden Light Festival Event" in Bandar Seri Begawan. It starts at 6pm to 11pm and It's until 15th April only. I hope you'll be able to go there. It's pretty rare and cool experience for the locals, esPECIALLY FOR THE TOURISTS.

I am surprised no one suggested to try our very own national dish- Ambuyat. Ambuyat is a dish made from the interior trunk of the sago palm. It is white solids being derived from the trunk of a Rumbia tree. And Ambulung is the local term for sago. Eaten with bamboo fork called chandas, roll the starch around the prongs and dip them into the sauce and walaa there ya go!
check them native people like the Dusun, Kedayan and many more if you like, they're all unique in their own ways. I come from a tribe called iban, we are mainly in the rural areas of Kuala Belait and Temburong. Be safe and enjoy your stay!
We’ve tried ambuyat already, it’s in one of our videos called “hidden gems of tutong” we really liked it specially because of the sauces we had with it.
We are staying with a dusun family and we have a kedayan friend and we recently met a iban family all really good people, that’s why we’ve been staying in Brunei for so long 😊😊😊😃

Are you still there in Brunei? Actually we are planning to go there on coming Eid holidays for couple of days.. hope someone here can help us with local transportation and guidance.. we are coming from Dubai on 5th June.
It’s very difficult to get around on public transportation because there isn’t many local transports, we recommend that you use a tour agent to visit Brunei, it’s much more easier and stress free 😉😉
