I have been meaning to mention this: Greg, you have rapidly become one of my favorites. as far as bushcraft channels go i reckon youre in my top few, possibly as high as #2 or 3 even. if you stay like this (assume you will once solo but Fowler's 30 day challenge might have an affect) you could be my favorite of all. so long as youre mostly pure woodsman and keep up with the content that's not old hat to a content devouring woodsman in my 40s - not been into it all my life though- I think you will. I know you did alone and all, but, as far as I know, as a new youtuber i wanted younto know this as I think the appreciation helps with motivation and the publishing perks (to consumer side) that come with it. thank you Mr Ovens. Ryan McLain
I agree with you wholeheartedly, Iv'e been watching for so long, there's something special about this guy. So relaxed, but tenacious. Great natural sence and common sence. He endures things I would not. I like his true, and thoughtful nature. So creative. I wish I knew what he knows, many years ago. I would probably still be out in wilderness. He, wishful thinking. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. 🙂 NZ.
By the way, you will find that he's all that when in faced with adversity. If I were ever lost, I would want him as a buddy to survive with. NO DOUBT! 🙂, NZ.,FROM CALIFORNIA.
When I came across your channel it changed my life. When I'm stressed or jus before I sleep I go on your channel. You are such a cool intelligent man that shares his knowledge with the world. God bless you
Greg has that indomitable patience and true grit for these wild adventures. He is not a quitter and his resilience and knowledge of the great outdoors is simply remarkable. These shows got me going in these lockdown days.
This reminds me of another sub of mine, who had 25k now he is at 123k he kinda has been blowing up for the last few months. Crime Pays Botany Doesn't. Great channel, beautiful close ups, lots of swearing, but funny and educational. He doesn't really go into edible plants, so I leave Greg to that. Both these channels awesome!
There are shots in this video which are stunningly peaceful and show man at one with the world. Greg appears , because that’s all you can go on to be a gentle soul, despite his obvious hard as nails capacity. Zac, you are a great man, helping show us this guy.
I love everything about this!! When I first moved to Colorado I spent 115 days straight in the mountains with another guy and 2 dogs... it was the time of my life!! I had the advantage of food boxes from churches and such brought to us every few weeks. But with a lot of beans, peanut butter, and rice (with an assortment of often expired foods); we did what we had to do for meat and foraging. I just don't understand how you could spend so many calories on extra projects without food reserves. But Bush craft in the rocky mountains is so good for a guy's soul!! I didn't have transportation, or any electronic equipment to call for help and the scariest time was a moose within 20-30 feet of us in camp with only a 22lr! The black bears weren't so scary. Just wanted to give you props on the series as I've experienced most of these situations for a near 4 month span 👍👏💯
@BlackieDog 86 I don't want to be on the front end of those antlers... bigger than a car and I'm only 140-150... ruclips.net/video/M26ug8MGYlY/видео.html
Keep up the good videos Greg!!! It will give you a platform to show your skillsets and the beauty of the nature that you see. Best it will generate the income you needed to be free with nature and do what you were born to do. 👍👍👍👍
This episode of the 30 day challenge is my favorite. That pool, waterfall watching you fish there is magical for me. What a magnificent place you are in.
Greg your a awesome and lovely/good person, I can see that on you. I wish you all the best. Stay as you are 👍🏻 @Fowler your awesome too, seriously. It’s very kind of you that you give Greg a helping hand with all the RUclips stuff. Greetings from a German who lives in the Netherlands
You have the gold fever! I hope you continue to add videos after this series is done showing. I know it is a lot of work but hopefully all of the comments and great people are motivational to keep you going. Watching every episode.

I wouldn't miss an episode, Greg. Hope that cut heals up quickly. I've done some panning and it's a blast. Glad you guys are getting vegetables and too bad it isn't big game season. Still, it's heatin up! I'm hooked!
Been watching your videos for a while now and ive got to say. Your videos are far more interesting than anything on tv and you really capture all intricate details on camera of just how realistic and time consuming this type of lifestyle is. Ill be watching for the foreseeable future! Thank you for your entertainment!
I didn’t want to say anything about that because spoiler alert but holy cats. Losing your keys in the middle of nowhere. Depending on your state of mind, might not be such a bad thing after all.

22:00 If you don't have access to or can't identify the appropriate plant, your saliva has antibacterial properties, as well as proteins that promote healing... keep your spit to yourself. I'm sure many have witnessed animals licking their wounds, it's a built in instinct. Don't take my word for it. Do your own research. So excited to have discovered this channel!
I like your videos Greg. Keep playing to your strengths that make you stand out. Plant knowledge on point and interesting, fire tricks are great. Keep at it and your channel will grow.
You're spot on about those gold finding shows and Oak Island. The anticipation is built up but NOTHING interesting actually ever happens. Loving the videos by the way.

Really enjoyed watching you on Alone and was rooting for you as a fellow Canadian, really glad I found this channel and happy to see you still doing your thing!

Agreed!
I'd love to watch that.

I'd watch for sure
I love how your always genuine Greg, you are just a real positive man with a humble heart and a kind spirit. I really adore you😊💕
