    Just diagnosed with pre diabetes, I have always watched your video.I just purchased your book on how to prevent diabetes. I'm going to follow your recipes and daily for daily habits eating.

    I do no sugar, no grains, no vegetable oils, no artificial sweeteners. It is working well. A1c is under 5.6, no insulin injections any more, insulin was 125 units a day a year ago. Was t2dm for 30 years. Yes it took me a very full year.

    I studied nutrition for 9 years to save my own life since no doctor I've seen diagnosed me for over 5 decades and I have CELIAC DISEASE. The medical industry is useless in by medical needs. I will get a Functional Nutritionist license and use my knowledge to help my own family and others since NONE of my docs could help me. In fact my life was often at risk under their care. TRUE!

    Thank you for pointing out that fasting up-regulates MKP-1, since this can suppress the immune system and quell inflammation in the body. Today, we believe that inflammation plays an important role in metabolic diseases like insulin resistance.

    Trauma and Stress can push a persin into diabetes
    I know someone who went through chemo and was given high doses of Prednisone.
    Gained 100 lbs in 6 months and became diabetic

    Intermittent fasting depends on good sleep,adaptation in slow manner.Magic happened when we do not eat and we should celebrate hunger as a wave of half to one hour ,then pass away,keep your self and mind busy .It is mind set.

    What's your AIC when your eating HIGH AMOUNTS of fruit in the summer. I don't go the High Fructose road (Jason Fung, Anthony Chaffe, Ken Berry, Dr. Bikman, Carb Addiction Doc.) Etc...

    In the summer I eat breakfast earlier about 8amand dinner later about 9. I am on Medicare and my doctor wants me to eat more carbs since my a1c came down to 5.8 from 7.5 . It is discouraging when I get lectured for trying to do better than following the usda.
