I really did not expect aventurine to be quite the softie, turns out he’s the type of person that genuinely deeply cares and love his family, the fact that he kept the shirt from his childhood too something about that tugs a string in my heart. Im so glad we get to see his true colors and personality, a more vulnerable side of him. Genuinely i love this man, cried everytime they brought out his backstory and that last cutscene with kakavasha totally obliterated my heart i cried so much holy shit

The exchange Acheron has with Aventurine finally taught me to love her. She's of a divided soul, caught between fatalism and wanting to endure, but she accepts that, and in the end she taught Aventurine that same understanding
She accepts that death is inevitable but she also accepts that until death comes from her, she lives her own life.
Aventurine is very smart and strong, but he is human in every way...
so my best guess is that aventurine is walking the line between life and death. sort of like a liminal state. i dont know what that means physically for him, whether he is in a coma or trapped in a vegetative state or just straight up no longer breathing.
the best three reasons for believing he is not yet fully dead: he spoke to Acheron (and she told him his gamble is not yet over), received an item from dr.ratio (a maintained connection to the future), and specifically said that he is not meeting his dead family yet (meaning he is going to try and escape). all signs point to the fact that he has to escape his way out of dream nihility-induced death to make it out alive again. and a death is still a death, so if he makes it out he will be free from the icp and the stone. so his true death is tbd
my guess is that we will not be seeing him for a long time (if at all). this seems like a definitive answer from the MCs perspective, that is likely why they put so much focus on him. even if he makes it out alive, he wont really be involved with the MC anymore. he will be a free man

He sought to get to the real Penacony which requires "death".... through Acheron and the Nihility's power, that is possible to get past all the frack that the family set up to keep people out.... however yeah, returning to the normal world may be a bit harder than usual, but well Dr Ratio's "chekov's gun" will be used 6 weeks from now :p

This Trailblaze mission made me want to pull for Aventurine even more
So Aventurine wanted to noclip out of Penacony where the legacy is but to do that you have to “Die”. However, you couldn’t go there by just dying in the dreamscape because of The Family and so you just wake up. But with Acheron’s help, he finally did it?
Yeah, that sums it up pretty much.
The power of the Harmony prevented him from doing so but Acheron being the Emanator of Nihility could basically sever the Harmony's grasp on him.

find it funny that 2 squishy characters in gameplay (Himeko and Welt) during the fight against Aventurine decided to stay in front to protect 2 perservation characters (Fire Trailblazer and March 7) (yeah I know lore and gameplay is different, but still)
Because that's what parents do for their kids.
Every single scene that Acheron speaks in this update is completely packed full of lore implications. I'm really interested in Aventurine saying "It's our Stellaron friend's identity, isn't it?" in response to Acheron saying she "unexpectedly learned something that is the key to connecting everything". We've already heard from Acheron herself that she believes "The secret of Penacony may be closely related to the Trailblaze". She is after the Watchmakers Legacy, and our identity has something to do with that. I'm curious if this means our true 'identity' is going to be revealed in Penacony.
Maaaaybe it also has to do with the MC's ability to directly manipulate the npc's emotions and dive into their memories? Not gonna lie tho, when we were required to adjust their emotions I felt it was too creepy and bad.
Aventurine's story made me cry a lot. I'll miss him, hope we would see him at least in 2.3

That was his scheme tho he wanted to force the hands of either Acheron or the Express to shatter the walls he just used himself as the catalyst to force them to act.
We see Welt preparing the black hole as Acheron slows down time so if it wasn't for Acheron then Welt would have done the job
Idk why EN community love to set him up, welt himself even the stellaron bearer (trailblazer) got affected by slow and indirect power from when she unleashes her form.

I got blue balled with the quest. The whole 2.1 trailblaze quest felt more like Aventurine story quest ngl.

Yeah I felt they had a bit TOO much of the quest be Aventurine.
Felt like:
Aventurine 80 percent
Trailblazer 10 percent
Acheron 10 percent
Honestly they could have easily cut a large chunk of Aventurine's story out and it would have been just fine. Replace half of the mansion quest where he's 'passing Sunday's trial" with Dr. Ratio, and maybe pass off some other parts here and there to other characters.

That boss fight was hell. Made it through with JY, Serval, Bailu, and SW. I was trying to make an AOE team mainly bc of the second phase but i forgot which characters has AOE attacks...😅

God this whole sequence of events was just incredible to me. I hated Aventurine with his smug demeanor and obvious sad story behind it all, but somehow (especially with the slave part not being a big influence?) I actually started to like him. Probably my favorite character, if Misha and/or Sunday don't beat him in this.
I cannot for the life of me remember if i beat him before the nerf, but i think i did, and I'm guessing it's because i like playing aoe characters. My hands were sweating, and I had to fight twice (once just cuz my first team wasn't ready/built), but that couldn't compare to anything. Maybe it's because i haven't played a lot of games, but the music and animations and story and voice acting made this encounter so much more fun for me, than i guess it did for others. Played it all at 2 am or smth too, half asleep and manic. Literal best boss ever, i want to fight him again outside of that stupid moc. Sam was much harder.

If what I understand is correct, Aven didn't used the full power of the stone (cuz he broke it) and even was taking on himeko, march and mc (i didnt included welt and acheron cuz they were severely holding back) only to prove that death is vague in the dreamscape. Altho one thing still lingers, if aven extracted the full power of the stone (I think he's like a pseudo-emanator cuz diamond gave him his stone), do u think he might be on near equal footing with acheron?
Don't think he'd be on par with Acheron tbh. The stones are said to hold the powers of an Emanator. It's not actually aventurine who truly controls the power himself. There are 2 confirmed emanators on the IPC namely Diamond and this other guy that's part of the board. Diamond must've shared his powers and sealed them in the stones. The stones themselves carry a certain "wish" that corresponds to the holders themselves. Each stone is an embodiment of each of the ten stoneheart's wishes. Once a stoneheart achieves their wish, the stone losses it's powers - as said by Topaz and Jade after the battle between Aven and Acheron.

He's technically dead but he can come back if he manages to escape the void he's currently in. Acheron managed to do it, so it's possible he'll come back one day.

My advice would be to use characters that can aoe. In the part of the 4 dice where we have to score more than the number on the screen, all we have to do is hit as many dice as we can in our characters' turn (it's best if you have your ults ready to have a higher score). The number of damage is not important because we're not actually damaging the dice or aventurine at that state. It's important to have a higher number because when aventurine goes "it's all or nothing" all of our characters that scored lower than his would be attacked, if equal no change, if higher add energy to ults, if achieved a crown that character will have full energy.

She isnt heartless tho? She didnt even murder Ifrit without letting him fight back (A villain) just like that
She is kinda...heartless because her heart has been broken. The concept of nihility is basically nothing.. That is why we feel that Acheron is so emotionless
She isn't heartless. She has shown that she does care for the Trailblazer, and can even symphatize with Aventurine and SAM to some extend. Her outwardly cold demeanor is the result of her losing her homeworld, and probably as a result of IX tampering with her psyche. On a side note, I personally don't understand why people found the likes of Eula, Chiori and Acheron to be annoying just because they aren't the warm and fuzzy girl-next-door type.

Tbh, Aventurine boss fight is boring a pretty annoying at same time, more likely on the second phase. It's irritating that he keep spamming the 4 dies every move he take.

Use characters with target aoe skills and you won't suffer during that phase (also the best way is to have 2 supports and 2 dps)

@@Khann_2102 My team was all level 80 but my light cones are below level 70. I still can't beat him. He is genuinely tough, don't feel bad if you can't beat him. Take your time and do other missions/XP grinding/level up. We'll get there eventually. Also, AOE/multi-target attacks are your friends.
