coming back after the penacony 4.0 quest, i realise aventurine's voice is a lot...more normal?? calling topaz? like, i feel like he put on more a performance talking to the other characters as being more vain/flashy while he sounds a lot more chill talking to a colleague he's 'close' with like topaz

It's nice to hear him break the "cunning charm" and performance and just talk- normally. Of course it's short lived since he's still on the job but it was nice :] Also though he's somewhat messing with Topaz and also questioning her for her choices, but he's being genuine with his advice. Though he'd likely like to be kind like Topaz was, it's too risky when it comes to working for the IPC. Let not forget he was tortured in an elevtric chair by the IPC when he murdered his owner back when he was a slave. He knows they are ruthless when needed, he knows they don't consider true hospitality, he's just trying to get that message to Topaz so she wont get in more trouble than she can take.
Well that and also the fact that he doesn't care. Like we know he had a sad backstory and all but his motivation is to keep living on with his family history with him while achieving more. He's cunning and extremely clever which makes him an excellent gambler. But I wouldn't call him uncaring or heartless because he has a facade on. Also it's still important to keep in mind him and Topaz are not close with one another, in fact Topaz dislikes him quite a bit. He wouldn't truly be honest and open hearted with Topaz, aside from the slight crack when she was about to hang up.

Obsidian is all about causing a bloodbath and Opal is about leading stuff or probably other things. Neither are social manipulators that easily gain trust and distrust in a perfect way for situations. Aventurine is manipulative af among them. But alot of them were needed for full success. Topaz for distraction and things. Aventurine for social manipulation and Jade for bartering and Manipulation. Jade was another manipulative one perfect for the situation and she also played a part in Panacony. Sunday was too strong. Their best bet was manipulation social manipulation and Outsmarting hence why they sent Jade Aventurine and Dr Ratio

The IPC isn't fully like anyone, there is no organisation that operates with their scope in Genshin. There is sort of the Adventures Guild but honestly, not even really. The IPC are bigger and badder then the Guild. Honestly, all faction are. Legion are sort of like the Abyss but not really, their motives sort of differ but they serve similar purpose. Thus far the Legion work towards the path of destruction, the end of all civilisation and live on the cosmos. The Stellaron Hunters are more like the Harbingers. They are an elite organisation of operatives that serve to gather a certain substance called Stellaron, for an as of yet, unknown purpose.
Also me, as someone who started playing this game when 2.1 dropped. If this counted as a Trailblaze Quest and not a Trailblaze Continuance Quest I would've done it before Penacony. Same thing with Crown of the Mundane and Divine, but it was a blessing in disguise cuz it made me obsessed with Dr. Ratio.
